The ABES Highlights

Likes

For the fresher students the faculty has added the programming languages and some AI classes in 1st year because of the autonomous.
The faculty is well experienced and well qualified.
The classes are from Monday to Friday as Saturday and Sunday is off.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria 75 percent is mandatory.
Dress is mandatory in college and id is also mandatory in college campus for entry.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements some of the companies which visit are amazon, atlassian, google,etc. According to me the highest package is 53 lpa and the average package is 5 lpa. If you had a great skilled then you can get the placement. I don't know the percentage of student getting placements.

Likes

Faculty is well qualified and very helpful
The boys and girls ratio is good as well I think 1:3 or 1:4 approximately

Dislikes

Attendance is very strict 75% is a must to give end sem and mid sem
The campus is quite small like it's feel crowded

The internship opportunities provided by the college are fairly decent and play an important role in giving students early exposure to the professional environment. The college actively shares internship openings through its training and placement cell, official communication channels, and faculty references.

Great Placements and Infrastructures but Strict Campus Life

Likes

Job help here works well - mock interviews plus skill drills make landing work easier.
I enjoy how everything's set up here. The library? Super helpful. Labs come with gear that actually, while the campus stays tidy.
Most teachers have been around the block, so they get it.

Dislikes

They are too strict about attendance and uniforms. it feels like school, which is annoying.
The girls to boys ratio is poor, around 1:4. The campus lacks diversity and feels skewed.
Campus life is dull due to strict rules. Also, the canteen food is average and repetitive.

ABES Engineering College Ghaziabad a fair review

Likes

It got autonomous this year so definitely it will be plus point. And girls to boys ratio is one is to 5 which is poor
Some new programming languages are introduced in the first year like C++ and python
Some more at less it has made a good mixture of syllabus

Dislikes

The college seems to be too much hectic there are regular classes from 9 to 4:30
That is also 75% attendance criteria which I don't like
The college also is quite strict like all colleges of aktu

Internships Opportunities:

I have found few seniors who have cracked internship in their second year they have said that they have started web development Python from 1st year very sincerely. And they used to study on the regular basis like enhancing the coding skill and keep working hard and pushing the limits. I have also seen the third and fourth year super senior who have cracked the internship quite good and making good money sometimes through College via paid internship

Infrastructure is very good and very well maintained
Quality of academic content is very good
There is Saturday and Sunday off which is also a very good thing

Dislikes

Attendance criteria 75 percent attendance is mandatory
College time is very much it is from 8 50 to 4 30
Dress - dress is mandatory...and you have to buy it from college only at price to 9000 extra

overall deatils for abesec college

Likes

the campus is average wide and there is a big feield to play and stadium with sitting area to sit and the staff is not much strict
canteen is also very it clean and affordable
students can go throughout the lectures in case of any emergency or other situations

Dislikes

college is although very good but still needs to allow students to wear their clothes bnot the college uniform
fees is a bit too high it wil be good if it is like 150000
water facility please provide glasses at water taps

Internships Opportunities:

internships are provided for few good students like the good ones in programming with an average stipend of nearly to 1 lakh and highest was 2.1 lakhs and projects are also mentioned and directed by the faculty and mentors to help you out

At ABES student eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester onwards Top companies like TCS , Infosys , Capgimini ,Accenture and Cognizant reqularly visit.For CSE/IT . The highest Packages goes up to 44 LPA

A experince it was: Time at ABES EC Ghaziabad

Likes

Good campus and decent atmosphere. The infrastructure is good.
Faculty is also good they have PhD done professors who have good grasp of subjects. Associate professors are decent and they are fresh M.Tech graduates.
Acessibility of the college is good as it is on the main highway pretty much near from city centre

Dislikes

The atendance policy of 75% is very strict and even at 74% attendance they send a letter to home and don't allow us to take unit exams
The uniform wearing policy is also strict in first year even the HOD comes to check the uniform which is quite strange
Certain charges are forced on students like buying a departmnetal T-shirt or else the admit caed would be withheld this atitude is not good

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell that helps with information about the job drives, and they also hold a placement drive for certain companies like TCS. Overall placement is decent, but not 100%. Students have to put in more. Most of the time, non-tech jobs are also referred to the engineering students.

Likes

College is good. As you will have opportunity to do good but it only possible when you are engaged..
Their are multiple clubs although for first year there are so many restrictions but so many clubs are easy to access
Teachers are good and experienced even they are more supportive..

Dislikes

College , teachers, hods are so much strict. Even for small mistake they will drag it so much
Lots of classes .. As to complete syllabus they run classes from 9 am to 4:30 pm and its hard for day scholars to maintain their time
For 1 st year its hectic coz u have to deal with classes assignment and their will be very less chance to indulge in club activities

Internships Opportunities:

From 3 rd year onwards you can get internship you can paid for your work.. Even in 2 year you can get internship but college will not provide you holidays you have to manage it by your own. And opportunity are there you have to grab it

The ECE department organizes short term training and in house internship in areas like VLSI,MATLAB aand ROBOTICS.
