Living my best choice!

Likes

The hostel arrangement of 2 persons per room.
The arrangement of books, journals and reading room.
The studing process with 3D visuals, lab experiments and necessary instruments.

Dislikes

Regular classes without sufficient breaks.
Sometimes extra classes are held on our games period.
There are no active clubs. Fests are held once in a year.

Internships Opportunities:

Our college has its own hospital within the campus. All the students after the 4th and half years, goes to this hospital for internship. In this hospital, students get free treatment. We can stay in college hostels during the internship.

CIRCUMSTANCES OF PRIVATE MEDICAL COLLEGE

Likes

hostel facilities including rooms and water facilities
outer study room allowing group studies and discussion
practicals and tutorials were interactive and experiencing patients are good

Dislikes

Library rules are rough not allowing students to study in their own way
the fee is too much more than the facilities available
The lectures were boring and less interactive and are not exam oriented

Internships Opportunities:

Internship are done in Ent Ophthalmology Forensic medicine Community Medicine Medicine Surgery Obs and gynaecology paediatrics and other aligned subjects for 1year with a stipend of 14000 per month only which is half of normal government medical colleges Logbooks has to be submitted on time with signatures of professors and other asked tasks has to be done like opd postings Ward postings Ot postings etc. Primary health centers also has to be visited staying there in the area.

Likes

College campus since its away from hospital area
Hostel buildings since its clean more than expected
College gardens since they planted different plants and flowers

Dislikes

Hostel mess since its not that hygienic
College washrooms since its not that hygiene

Internships Opportunities:

I dont have much knowledge about internship opportunities but as much as I know I would say that we have to do internships in various other hospitals starting from your own college hospital and night shifts are also there and you get paid nearly 15 to 20 thousand per month

The college faculty is very helpful and supportive towards the students .
The college hospital is one of the best hospital in the state .
The friends I made after coming to this college

Dislikes

The mess food is very bad and it is very hard to eat the same food over and over
The hostel bathrooms are not at all hygenic .
The college building is very far from the hostel

After completing 4.5 years of study it is compulsory for every student to do 1 year of internship in various departments like community medicine , surgery , pediatrics etc. During internship students get a stipend of 21 000 per month

My Experience in a Medical College

Likes

Faculties are good, surrounding is good and friends are best.
Classrooms are well lit and there is the provision of AC.
Surrounding is good with food shops and tiffin houses.

Dislikes

Hostel rooms could have been better with hygiene and maintenance.
Food in mess can be better with better options and varieties.
Sometimes there is some quarrels and backbitching among students of here.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is done after the completion of 4.5 years of MBBS course and this is compulsory. People are getting good seats in PG courses and are well placed in their careers and have become good Doctors. Internship is very much important here in this course.

Likes

Teaching system is way to good compared to other college
Our professor are far better than other college professor

Dislikes

The hostel room are not upto the mark more benefit must be given
The life of both hostel and college stops working all of a sudden

Internships Opportunities:

Tho I have not done my internship yet but yes the internship facility is my college is very good and the stipend given during the internship is good but if increased a little bit then it would have been more better

It is good that people from different parts of the country came here and make friends together
I feel like to study more in hostel. Being in hostel makes me more responsible
Sometimes I went out from the college and enjoy

Dislikes

I don't like the tight schedule of the college
There is a lot of study pressure as it is medical college
Some people are not meant to be trusted.

Our college itself provided the internship opportunity and there is no association with any other companies. Intership is for complete 365 days and we have to do full 365 days. If we absent in the middle then, there will be extention at the end. Salary is 14,000 per month

Insight on TMC

Likes

Campus life is good but nothing much extravagant
Faculty in the clinical branches are quite good compared to non clinical ones
Infrastructure is there for studies and its good

Dislikes

No such sports and cultural activites in campus life
Faculty needs to be more solution oriented and focus on clinical aspects more

Internships Opportunities:

Intership is there in the college itself after you complete your MBBS course ,monthly salary is about Rs.14000 and its somewhat ok.you can learn the patient load is also moderate not hectic compared to AGMC

Likes

The environment is so good for a college setup
The professors are so well trained and they are so well behaved
There is a huge playground for leisure activities

Dislikes

Mess food is not good, not suitable for students who are going to be future doctors
Hostel allotment should be strictly monitored as seniors snatch room from the juniors
Academic pressure is bit high in TMC so it should be relaxed a bit less

Internships Opportunities:

Internship facility is good it gives a huge platform to learn but the stipend here is mere 14000/month which is not upto the mark , other govt or private colleges are giving above 20k per month Otherwise there are some great teachers under whose guidance a budding MBBS graduate will be helpful

Campus ,hostel accommodation, friends ,and the locality
Faculties are friendly and helps during exams and clear doubt when we ask them anytime
Infrastructure is good and its improving every year

Dislikes

Hostel food sometimes the qualitybis bot good as it depends on the mess manager every month as it changes
Sometimes the locality dogs come to hostel premise
