- Here's a great advantage, smimer being a private college it had emence patient inflow , so it will be great learning experience and learning through a close clinicals . With the daily patient inflow of 2.5 thousand of patients per day !! It's insane
- The engagement would be less in extra curricular activities as compared. To your school days but here it's great . There's a positive interaction between out seniors and faculties and our home residents too
- The faculties are top notch here . With min experience of 15-20 years of teaching span . And master in their respective fields . Some of them are from clinicals and non- clinical branches .they are really helpful with studies and our personal concern
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is pretty lame for real. The campus is a bit crowded due to heavy pateint inflow . We literally have classes in parking lot for the 3 year . They are building a new blocks for students
- The exams taking structure is insane here but it's bearable . It has 2 internal , prelims and a university exam per year and assignment , postings and seminals too
- It's been 2 year joining mbbs , the personal and professional growth has been elevated for real . The personal development was great and it will be a phase of your life
Internships Opportunities:
The internship consists of 1 year after mbbs . In our college hospital.internship in various different departments in hospital such paediatric , medicine , obs gyn , surgery etc . The the great clinical exposure .

In an internship, there are various opportunities available in different branches to persuade in our dream branch of medical College.
There are adequate staff and nurses and professors who are thanked full that it is giving a proper environment for learning and dealing the real-life patient interaction plus skill full prescription writing plus investigation and diagnosis.

Internships Opportunities:
Internship was Hactic with each department providing oppertunity to learn everything in O.P.D. as well as I.P.D. We got hand to do Deliveries, suturing wounds, applying plaster for broken bone, Got hand in operation theatre.
We were given Internship in SMIMER Hospital,surat situated within campus & stipend of about 12,000/month
We were Posted at 4 different PHC in Village under PSM Department were we have to screen every village house for any disease

There is no such thing like placement these are in engineering college we get degree and after we get a post in different hospitals where we get post by our own knowledge and degree I just hate word like placement there's nothing like that
Overall I think this is best medical college in surat and I strongly suggest every body to visit once

There is 13000 monthly stipend is also given to the students.
In this internship time student learn many lessons which is important for their future.
