Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Medical College (PDUMC), Rajkot established in 1995, is a government medical college allied to Saurashtra University, Gujarat. It is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college works closely with Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Government Hospital (Civil Hospital, Rajkot), and also uses the Civil Hospital for clinical training. PDUMC offers undergraduate (MBBS), as well as a range of postgraduate (MD/MS/PG Diploma) medical courses with good facilities and a rich variety of clinical exposure. PDUMC aspires to be a responsible institution in the area of customer satisfaction in education, research, and health care to all social strata, especially for the poor.
