Placement Experience:

I have done 1 year compulsory rotatory internship from 7/03/2017 to 6/03/2018. We are always offered jobs from leading medical colleges and Hospitals in patna and nearby cities with handsome salary. Government of Bihar also do recruitment on large scales for general and specialised doctors from our college. Some students even opt to go abroad by qualifying examinations like USMLE and PLAB. Our teachers helps us a lot to get the job that suits our personality and lifestyle. They always have a session where they make us aware about the tough situations in the professional life coming ahead. I have never seen any of my colleague unemployed in last 6 yrs. They either join bihar govt health department as general or specialised doctor or join private hospitals. So I would say it have a almost 100% placement rate.

Internships Opportunities:

You have to do Internship in same college and also during internship you can be posted in nearby pch. During internship you will be posted in each clinical department for some duration to gain knowledge and experience from there.

We are aksed to do compulsory internship in pur college which is for one year During this time we get alot of exposure Medicine- one of the busiest departments ,one of those departments where even if go for a few days you can flex so much about your knowledge, pgs here are great and always ready to teach Surgery- this is what attracts everyone in mbbs , you feell like being in movie you get to assist surgeons and also learn to examine Gynae- busiest of all ,learning opportunity is also greatest of all pg maam and professors will call you to come and learn!! They are eager to teach you very supportive Radiology- we have a special building dedicated to radiology which is well furnished with equipments Psm- you get to know the rural india during psm postings you'll learn how to talk to patients what are the simple drugs that one should be knowing and the best- how to give injection Other departments like ent, optha, derma, psychiatry, ortho also offer great learning opportunity

Nalanda Medical College and Hospital

Nmch provides internships in its hospitals for 1 year after course completion. The stipend is 20000 per month. The internship period is quite tiring and duties are to be strictly done. Posting is done in each dept. Ward for a small period.

Every medical college under AKU have their own hospital for intership with basic fee of 20000/- But some pvt college under this university have paid for thier interns. Their is no such campus placement for medicos they just start preparations for post graduation to earn more.

There is sure placement to getting job in government as well as private clinic depending on your skill and experience.

Once you clear your final professional exams i.e the fourth year, a hospital provides you with the opportunity for an internship. There are no issues if you have passed your all exams. As a stipend gov of Bihar gives 20 thousand rupees monthly for one year.

College provide internship for students are also good and internship compel.

Nmch Patna provides internships for all students and internships are also paid. The internship stipend is also a good amount like 30000Rs. To 40000Rs. Previous history of college students a good doctor. Project in our college every student completed and guided by a professor.

All you have to know for NMCH, Patna

Not like that of Engineering or MBA courses where companies come and provide job placement, in MBBS first one has to complete the study duration of 4 and a half years and then have to do an internship in other colleges and rural services around the city outskirts. This year there was a stipend hike for the internship service from 15 to 20k per month for 12 months duration. You have to pass and complete the proof exams up to the fourth year and then you will be provided with an internship from the college itself.

As we are pursuing an MBBS course so there's nothing like placements here..we get a monthly stipend of 20k in our internship year. Other than that except for the degree, there is no other active research or project work environment here
