NMC Patna Faculty

The faculty at the college are highly qualified and experienced, with many being well-trained doctors and surgeons. Each department boasts a large number of lecturers, with one department alone having 3 professors, 7 associate professors, 13 assistant professors, and 18 senior residents. The faculty are described as friendly, supportive, and approachable, offering guidance both academically and personally. Classes run from 8 am to 4 pm with a 1-hour lunch break, featuring a mix of theory and practical sessions.

There are 2 semesters each year, culminating in a pre-professional exam before the final university exam. Faculty members are noted for their clinical knowledge and the ability to explain chapters clearly, reducing exam stress. They also involve students in practical learning experiences like assisting in operations. Despite some issues with a focus more on syllabus completion, the faculty provide a supportive learning environment.
