Ques. Is B.Sc. (Anaesthesia Technology) at JNMC the same as B.Sc. OT Technology? What is the difference?
Ans. At JNMC/KAHER, the program is officially named B.Sc. Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, which combines both OT (Operation Theatre) and Anaesthesia Technology training. Students learn both OT management (instrument handling, sterilization, assisting in surgeries) and anaesthesia-specific skills (pre-anaesthetic evaluation, monitoring anaesthesia machines, assisting anaesthesiologists). Some institutions offer these as separate programs, but at JNMC they are combined into one 4-year program.
Ques. What is the KAHER-AIET exam pattern for B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences admission?
Ans. The KAHER-AIET is a 2-hour online exam (11 AM to 1 PM). It is based on the 10+2 Science syllabus (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
