The professors are knowledgeable and have years of experience which shows
The patient load in hospital is very good which leads to good understanding of the subject

Course is long and sometimes it feels that professors are rushing syllabus

Faculty:

Faculty to student ratio is 1:30 and most of the professors are approachable and are highly skilled in solving all your queries. Keep a lookout for Dr shirol in Anatomy who is an absolute genius and also for Dr Shantala in Physiology. The college is full of deemed professors and if you want more information on them then visit jnmc.edu where you can look at faculties under the department dropbox. Hands down best faculty is of surgery and medicine in the college. There are 3 IAs and one finals and they are mid level difficult. They always put a few tricky questions. Usually around 10-15 people fail and the questions are from the curriculum itself

JNMC College explained

There are faculties in each branch of surgery and medicine and according to me it is one of the best faculties i have experienced The course is divided into phase 1 which is 1 year Phase 2 which is 1.5 years phase 3 part 1 which is 9 months and then phase 3 part 2 which is 1.2 years As for the exam system its the same in every college with a huge hall for examining the students Marking schemes is for 100 marks each subject hast two paper so total is 200 marks and adding 100 more marks of practical the total come to 300 Out of which you have to score 150 minimum The paper has 20 marks for mcqs and 80 marks for practical

BSc. Perfusion technology in JNMC, Belagavi

During practical classes every equipment are provided to each student respectively.
Each and topics of every subject were explained were very nicely.

There is no teaching faculty is appointed for the Department of perfusion technology.

The Principal of Allied health sciences Dr. Urmila Kagal is very kind and helpful in every aspects. The faculty members of all Department do their work really nicely. The only problems i faced were after my 3rd semester in my own Department of Perfusion technology where no teaching faculty is hired, senior perfusionist is forced to take care of us without any additional payment for teaching.

The ratio of faculty to student is 20:4 it has made a significant impact on my learning experiences, where I got opportunity to learn carefully. Faculty are most qualified as they bear doctorate degree with more than ten years of teaching and learning experiences. We get opportunity to interact with faculty member and college administrator frequently and whenever required. They are available at any time to support the students. We can approach to faculty member at any time as we want.

My Review

30 lecturers are present average between 30-60 years of age. All lecturers have MBBS degree from prestigious colleges and some lecturers even have the postgraduate degrees and diploma. Lecturers never get tired of explaining the subject to the students and most of the concepts taught are practical based so it's more helpful.

Super College

JNMC,AMU is one of the top 25 medical college in India. On academic level it gets high ratings too. Based on my personal experience, it's very true. The lecture theatre is well equipped with projectors,ACs,proper lighting and comfortable seats. The professors also give their best based on their clinical and theoretical knowledge. Overall the faculty works really hard.

It's balanced.Some professors/doctors are highly qualified and can teach us a lot.Some on the other hand are not so good at interacting with the students.Some professors really help us in linking the textbooks with clinical practice

The teachers there were strict in the starting but later became friendly. Some of the teachers teaching skills were just awesome. Some of the teachers were helpful during exams. A teacher is a guide to ones life and they proved it true.
