For 1st year students the faculty is great and approachable to some extent. Campus seems pretty decent. The faculty is great and a handful of them come with their own experience.

Faculty:

The class of 245 members are divided into 2 batches where 1 teacher engages the class. During dissection the faculty student ratio is one to thirty (1:30). Jjmmc follows rguhs for the exam pattern and marking scheme Students failing internally are eventually passed but during the final exams if students failing they are made to write supplementary examinations, if they fail those as well then the students are retained for a year In the 1st year there is mentor-mentee programmes where each teacher is alloted a few students, where if students have any problems or difficulties can address them to their mentors or to any other teacher. Thomas sir, Smilee mam, raghavendra sir, manjappa sir, Preethi mam, Vivian sir, premchand sir and kantaraj sir are few of the best teachers there are.

There is approximately 1:20 faculty to student ratio. Student-faculty relation is very good,interactive.Professors are very helpful in studies,doubts, counselling for non academic matters,very supportive for research works As a 2nd professional year student,we like anatomy, physiology, pathology department very much as these subjects are very difficult but the faculty supports us in every way to help us through out Best faculties are- Dr kulkarni (HOD, pathology), Dr Smilee vivian (physiology department), Dr. Ashwini S(physiology department).We don't like microbiology and biochemistry department as these department are not that good as the other ones.There are 3 professional phases(I,II,III phase).In Each year, 3 internals with gap of 3 mnths are taken by college, last final university taken by rguhs board.Exams are moderate in difficulty but somestudents do fail in exams.

JJMMC review by 1st year student

The teaching staff is on average very skilled in each department of the 1st year. Concepts can be easily grasped and understood. Emphasis on application skills is present.

Each department has about 10-12 teaching staff. There are technicians in all labs. they engage a student body of 120 or 60 or 30 student at a time. There are 3 internal examinations followed by a university wide final examination. The internals follow the pattern of having theory exams followed by practicals.

The Best Medical college

There are approximately 15 departments in our college and each department has an average of 15 professional lectures/teachers accompanying with no teaching staff separately Average age of teacher:40 Qualifications: principal Secretary Dean HOD ASSOSCIATE PROFESSOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR JUNIOR LECTURER INTERN Expertise: A post graduate degree in respective subjects Good hold on topic Extremely clear Student friendly Personal experiences shared They publish many research papers, many journals, also along with students they participate in icmr projects in Medical research.
