We get to do internships in the college itself which can be a bit useful stipend is the same as any other college in Mumbai but being from GMC Mumbai has its own perks in society it represents itself as top in overall aspects of study and life experiences which can't be brought or thought someplace else

The internship is compulsory after the final year MBBS exam. The internship is to be completed in the hospital attached to the respective college. The role of the intern is to support resident doctors to provide better care to patients. Stipend is around 10000 in my college.
Almost everyone is placed here. The highest salary package offered is 2 Lacs per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month. Everyone has to do 1-year of mandatory internship where you get Rs. 6,000 per month. After completing your internship, you can become RMO ( resident medical officer) where you can get Rs. 55,000 per month of salary with additional government benefits.
You can complete your internship in JJ hospital only or you can take an externship to complete in elsewhere. But completing it in JJ will give you an extra edge considering the variety of patients.
The placements are good, Being a doctor u get a degree and one year experience apart from the internship so along with passing out, the bond u serve deals with one year experience which helps u in further job placement. Also being a doctor one can open his or her own clinic
1 year internship is to be done. Students from other colleges can also apply. More than 100 such externs come from other colleges to gather work experience in this college, including overseas undergraduates.

According to the reviews online by the students of these colleges, here’s what the ranking seems to be like:
Therefore it is suggested you either go for KGMU or MAMC, as they will provide you with the required exposure and opportunities.
I will try to answer your query and provide some additional information.
After the top most colleges- AIIMS, PGI, JIPMER, NIMHANS and SGPGI, these are the colleges you should try for- Medical colleges in Delhi are the best choice. Out of these, MAMC is the most desirable. It is followed by VMMC, LHMC and UCMS. Then come the medical colleges in Mumbai. KEM is a top medical college, followed by Sion and Grant. Colleges of Kerala and Madras are at par with one another. But Madras Medical College is the best among these. AFMC and CMC Vellore are great for patients, but not so much for the students.
Thus, MAMC is a great choice. I do not possess much knowledge of KGMU and IMS BHU, so I haven’t talked about them.
