Yes, there is an internship in my college. In our medical field placement is based on the results of an undergraduate degree, like in govt. Colleges after graduation there is applied for PHC and CHC for 2 years which is necessary bond-based. After completing the degree try out for the PG degree seat entrance test NEXT and complete the PG course.
Students are palced in the PHCs and CHCs. After the 2 year of rural servicing they can join the any hospital as a Junior resident. Then after they can prepare for PG exams for MD/MS. After the qualification of pg entrance exam(NEET PG/ AIIMS PG) they join allotted medical collegs for further studies.
After the completion of course there is one year round compulsory Internship in all clinical departments. After this there is a 2 year Rural Service Bond. Each and every student from college gets a Govt. job and is also free to work in private sector.
Medical colleges have internship as part of their course structure which students do after passing their final year part 2. Stipend right now in my college is about 12500 which is expected to increase in near future. In internship you have to go to respect department for certain period of time and perform the duties assigned to you. Different department have different time period. You get to learn lot of things about treatment procedures and how to handle the patient and staff.
Placement and jobs are guaranteed as there is never ending need of doctors . Almost each graduate has job after degree completion. Graduate join rural health centers, district hospitals, private hospitals as per their choice after the internship. Many graduates start their intensive preparations for post-graduation entrance examinations such as NEET PG, AIIMS PG , JIPMER, PGI CHANDIGARH, etc. Packages start from no less than 40000 per month and run up to 2-2.5 lacs per month. Our college is a promising institute for placements and job. It has given many good doctors for the country and abroad.

One year internship is provided by the college hospital itself, they rotate us through every department for a month or so provide ample exposure to patients and procedures. 12 hour shifts are designated. the goal is to create a competent doctor who can do basic procedures and diagnose at a PHC

the student are recruited in the college hospital only for a period of 1 year for internship and then it depends upon individuals ability to reach other grounds the college makes the individual so capable that they are easily able to fetch new jobs
During internships, students are paid a stipend of around Rs 12,000 - Rs 13,000, and the internship is in our college's hospital. Once students complete the course they get government. Jobs with starting salary of Rs 50,000 per month Almost all the students get good jobs after MBBS. The highest package offered after MBBS is around 60,000, and the lowest salary is around 40,000. Mainly students get placed in government hospitals. Almost all the students got internships at government hospitals.
A compulsory internship of one year is to be done after the completion of 4th year of mbbs. A stipend of around 12000/ month is provided for the same. During an internship, you get to serve in different departments and definitely learn a lot.
Yes, of course as it is a medical college you are provided with a one year of compulsory internship. Further you are given a job of physician at PHC which is the best thing if you want to do a government job.
