Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) is a medical institution established in the year 2001 and is located in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. The institute is affiliated to Ayush and Health Sciences University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur and funded by State Government.
CIMS offers undergraduate admissions in MBBS and postgraduate admissions in MD. It is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Admissions to MBBS shall be conducted on the basis of NEET UG ranks for Chhattisgarh State.
- State domicile candidates who have qualified NEET UG will be called to register for online counselling conducted by Directorate of Medical Education, Raipur.
- To be eligible for MBBS courses, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English as main subjects and scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate in class 12th qualifying examination.
- Minimum eligibility criteria have been relaxed for reserved category candidates by 5%.
- In case of admissions to MD program candidates must have appeared in NEET PG and registered for counselling conducted by Ayush and Health Science University of Chhattisgarh.
- It is important that candidates have completed their MBBS degree programs along with compulsory one-year rotating internship to be eligible for admissions.
- Any UG or PG candidate must register for online counselling and choose CIMS as their preferred choice of institute. The allotment would be done based on merit ranks released by DME, Raipur.

CIMS, Bilaspur Undergraduate Admissions 2024
CIMS is known to offer MBBS degree having five and half year’s duration, including one-year compulsory rotating internship. The total yearly intake of students is 100. Out of the total seats 15% seats are reserved for candidates under All India Quota and 3% seats are for Central Government Nominee. The rest 82% of seats shall be occupied by state candidates. All seats shall be allotted to eligible candidates based on merit/ranks of NEET UG.
To be eligible for admissions candidates must have passed class 12th examination with Physics/Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English as cores subjects and qualified in NEET UG.

CIMS, Bilaspur Postgraduate Admissions 2024
At post graduate level, the institute offers MD program in three specializations. For admission under state quota, a candidate is required to appear in NEET PG . There after candidates possessing State domicile are called for counselling by DME, Raipur and seats are allotted as per availability, at the time of counseling.

Key Points:
- All aspirants must complete one-year rotating internship on or before April 30 of the admission year to be eligible for admissions.
- Permanent registration from MCI/State Medical Councils is mandatory.
- Candidates must have secure 50th percentile (for the general category); 40th percentile (in reserved category); 45th (physically disabled class) to be called as NEET qualified.
CIMS, Bilaspur Admissions 2024 Application Process
Admissions to the institute can be sought through online counselling conducted by competent authorities. The counselling process for UG and PG will involve the given steps:
MBBS Counselling Process
- Candidates need to register at online within the dates provided by the counselling body.
- They must fill-up the registration form by providing mandatory details. The registration ID and user password created at the time of registration should be saved for future reference.
- The cost of registration is INR 1000 for general category candidates and INR 500 for reserved category candidates.
- Also, candidates need to get their documents verified within the given schedule.
- The final admissions will be done on reporting at the institute and paying requisite admission fees.

- The counselling will be held in the online mode on the official website of Ayush and Health Science University of Chhattisgarh.
- A candidate must register with their personal information, email ID phone numbers and pay the requisite registration fees.
- The candidates will exercise course and college options in the online mode.
- Thereafter, candidates will have to appear for document verification Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur as per the dates before counselling.
- The result of the seat allotment will be published on the website and further candidates must report at the institute allotted to confirm their seat.

I wanted the best college of my state Jnm Raipur but I got the second best colleges of my state that is Cims bilaspur due to lack of numbers.
You have to clear neet cutoff after that you will get admission in the college then you have to verify your documents. Cutoff for my college is 625 630 for general category

This college is the state 2nd top colleges and then I got admission here.I also got one west bengal college but this college ranking is higher than that college.I crack the neet exam and got admission for ug here.The admission process is so simple.

And it is the best college which I can get for my score in neet
And its also the second best college in chattishargh
First you have to clear the neet exam and then you have to apply for counselling according to your marks in neet and you have to choose your preference and according to your scores govt allot you college and then there is admission process which require bond paper class 10 Aur class 12 marksheet you admission certificate neet scorecard

It was ranked the second topmost college of the state and in the order of counselling hence i chose it _ older colleges provide a good alumni network and good patient load along with running facilities.
Didnt have enough marks to get Pt. JNM Raipur, hence stuck with this.
The admission procedure is arguably the easiest in my college, the faculty members are extremely helpful regarding the same, that was the first exposure of any new student to the faculty and hence its good.
eligibility is judged by NEET UG state rank only, the cutoff varies per year, and the overall admission process is smooth..
