The fee ranges from 12-22 Lakhs for B.Tech management quota seats, at MIT Pune. For CSE, it is on the higher end of this range. At VIT Pune, the fee ranges from 8-20 Lakhs. Again, it is on the higher end for B.Tech CSE. These figures aren’t fixed, they are based on factors such as market demand and inflation rates. Ans. Among these institutes, VIT Pune is better for CS. Academics, infrastructure, exposure, placements, internships, etc. are better at VIT. Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Nvidia, Tata Power, Atlas Copco, etc. are some of the major recruiters that frequently visit the campus placements. In the last semester, there is a compulsory 6-month internship module at VIT. This helps a lot with placements. According to trends of the last few years, VIT Pune CSE average package is INR 6.34 LPA. During 2021 placements, the highest CTC offered was INR 33.75 LPA.Read more

Ques. Which is better, a CSE at VIIT Pune or an ENTC at VIT Pune, considering the future of the branch and the college?

Ans. My friend is currently in his final year of CSE in VIT and is also working at IBM, Pune for my semester-long internship. VIT and VIIT have a common Training and Placement Officer who oversees the placements of both colleges. In my opinion, VIT CSE is way better than EnTC in terms of placements. My friends in EnTc who score better than my friend in VIIT CSE are still struggling for decent jobs. VIIT CSE students get offers from companies that visit the campus almost every week. Although VIT allows EnTC students to appear for software jobs, most software companies prefer taking CSE students mainly because they have studied the relevant subjects for 4 years. Moreover, VIT is autonomous. I would recommend you choose CSE even if the colleges are similar because the CSE curriculum and syllabus will guarantee your entry into the Software or IT industry. Another added advantage is that VIT has a system of compulsory semester-long internships in either of the semesters of the 4th year. Students receive internship offers from big companies that likely get converted into placement offers for CSE. This may not be the case for any other college in the entire Pune. My friends in EnTC are now struggling to pursue higher studies or jobs in the Software industry. So go for VIT without any second thoughts. Read more

Ans. I won’t suggest you opt for the AI and DS branch at VIT Pune at any cost. The professors of this branch lack industrial knowledge and practicality. The placement scenario is pathetic. It’s a decent option if all you want is a degree VIT Pune CSE branch on the other hand offers excellent job opportunities with a very promising placement scenario. So, don’t choose the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science branch at VIT Pune.Read more

Ans. PICT is the best option for CSE in Pune followed by VIT Pune. The faculty pool of PICT stands apart from other colleges making it the dream college of many. I once visited a technical project exhibition in PICT and fell in love with the innovative environment of the college. The cutoffs are usually high for PICT and it accepts only the best crowd. So you will get an amazing experience if you choose PICT over VIT.Read more
