University of New Brunswick Admission Decision

There is no specific time frame given by University of New Brunswick for announcement of admission decisions. The admissions committee begins reviewing the application as soon as they receive them. Students are required to confirm their admission by paying the admission deposit. The last day to pay the admission deposit is May 15.

University of New Brunswick Admission: Selection Criteria

University of New Brunswick acceptance rate is around 79%. The admission process is slightly selective for both graduate and undergraduate programs. International students applying for graduate and undergraduate programs are required to have a minimum aggregate score of 60% or equivalent GPA to be eligible for admission. MBA applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.3 (80%) for the same. GMAT and GRE scores are not required for graduate admissions, however for MBA, the minimum GMAT requirement is 550. Students are also required to submit their IELTS and TOEFL scores. The minimum IELTS score required is 6.5 and the minimum TOEFL iBT score is 85. The admission committee also looks at the student’s academic and extracurricular background to determine their eligibility.
