• Four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution with minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (University of Alberta system).

• Competitive GPA Alberta Applicants: >3.6.

• GPA Calculation Based on the most recent 60 credits of transferable university-level coursework.

• Exclusions Practicums, work terms, field studies, and studio/physical activity courses (except select senior-level physical activity courses).

 Prerequisite Courses:

• Statistics (3 credits).
• Psychology (3 credits).
• Humanities/Social Science (3 credits).
• Human Anatomy (3 credits).
• Human Physiology (6 credits).
• Human Movement (3 credits).
• Canadian Indigenous History (3 credits or certificate)

English Proficiency Requirement

• IELTS (Academic): Overall 7.5 (No band below 7.0).

• TOEFL (Paper-based): 580 + TSE score of 50.

• TOEFL (Computer-based): 237.

• CAEL: Overall 70 (minimum 60 per subset).

• PTE: Minimum score of 61.
