McGill University offers various entrance scholarships for new, full-time undergraduate international students. These are merit-based scholarships. It is not available to transfer, mature, diploma, exchange, part-time, or visiting students.
They are of 2 types:

- The scholarship is renewable for all the years of the undergraduate degree.
- The criteria for renewal is minimum number of credits of 27 and a minimum GPA of 3.5 on 4 GPA in the first year and 3.7 on 4 GPA in further years.
- Students can apply for this scholarship from 1 October 2026.
- The deadline to apply for international students is 21 January 2027.
- Documents required to apply are: 2 letters of reference and a signed statement from your school.
