- Class schedule: We have classes only 2 days in a week. This help us to manage our time for part time job. Moreover, we can choose timing if we have any issues.
- Professors: All professors are professional in their field. They provide practical examples and conduct in class activity to get better knowledge. They assist weak students in a friendly way.
- Free career building sessions and immigration classes: University also conducts free career building sessions from industry experts. Moreover, they conduct virtual immigration sessions from an immigration lawyer.
Dislikes
- Fees structure: Tution fees is very high compared to other colleges. Moreover, they charge extra money if we are downloading anything from their website. For instance, if we are download scheduled break letter, enrollment letter or any other documents they charge us $12 per download.
- No co-op: University is not providing co-op opportunity to it's students. Co-op is important for acquiring practical experience.
- No cafeteria: Cafeteria is there but it is not opened most of the time.
- I find accommodation through an accommodation WhatsApp group.
- Monthly rent: $370 + $40 for utilities. Facilities included are parking, heater & AC, electricity, water, gas, internet, and Netflix subscription.
- It was difficult when I was finding an accommodation because of the housing crisis. Also, there are a lot of scammers. So I have to ensure that the property owner is not a scammer.
- Always double check before paying any advance amount to the property owners. Moreover, read the lease agreement clearly.
- There is only 9.3 KM distance from my house to college. Most of the Indian students are living in Brampton and Mississauga.
