  • I do not know about the jobs (but around 3500-4500 euros in jobs). PhDs are mostly 65% salary (2000 euros).
  • No campus placements. International students mostly apply from job boards.
  • I do not know. This is a university, and not everybody finishes at the same time. In my friend circle I have finished; however, my other 3 friends are still doing their thesis. So, I don't know. However, I really wish that they would have some sort of placements or at least counselling. We are basically on our own as soon as we graduate.

  • For the first time going from India, since I did not know anyone, and due to the rising scams related to housing, I chose to rent a room from a trusted website called Habyt. The room was expensive; however, there was no chance of any scam.
  • Habyt room was 950 euros per month (4 months) in Munich, then I shifted to Freising, where I rented a room for 600 euros per month (for a year) and then I had to shift to another room in Freising area, where I currently live (430 euros per month for ~1 year)

  • Depends on the markets and job availability.
  • In Nova Scotia you can expect a starting salary of around 60k - 100k CAD max.
  • There are a few job fairs in the university that are not so great. Apply on Indeed and LinkedIn. But it mostly depends on your profile resume and experience.
  • ResMed, RBC, and CGI are a few companies that Acadia Graduates get hired. Many of them moved to Ontario.

  • For my first year I stayed on campus at Crowell Tower (would not recommend), very expensive. Applied on the university residence website. Moved to off campus now.
  • 700, everything included (heat, water, utilities etc)
  • Finding off campus accommodation is difficult because Wolfville is a small town and high demand from students for off campus.
  • DO NOT CONSIDER ON CAMPUS. Only as a last option. Its extremely expensive (food mainly) and the food tastes pathetic.

Based on your holistic program performance based on your peer review rating, Dr. Vas Taras rating and last report average reating in last of all report if you are top performer out of all the candidates from different corner of the globe, who are enrolled in this program. As I was one of the top performer of that term of this program, so I recieved a letter of reccomendation or a reference letter sighned by Dr. Vas Taras for showcasing my achievements in it of the report prepared on Wheelstairs and with the certificate of appreciation and completion of program. In this program, I learned how to build a team professionally work with them efficiently and get the work done with them according to deaddlines with team spirit, cooperation and collaboration. This made me to learn how to draft or make a report of market research, and based on it create different strategies that is push or pull based on the type of market. Therefore, It was a great experience and opportunity for me and my team.

It was a program which provide to inculcate soft skills like leadership, problem-solving, design thinking , crativity and innovation in the team. The technical skills like analytical skills, research skills, presenting and reporting skills, etc.

I haven't finished my degree yet.

This college is very close to where I currently live. There are many locations that are within driving distance. I also like that the campuses are open are have convenient hours to meet my needs. I love it here.

Canada is growing, so are the opportunities, if you have the knowledge and know-how to make the company believe that you are the right choice, then you will succeed.

There are only 11 job placements so it can get very competitive. However, this is the case in most schools. I wish they could open it up to more opportunities because there are a lot of good students who don't get one.

The campus and class sizes were very small which I liked because I came from a small town originally. The nutrition program was also very good because the teacher and community were very involved in it.
