I chose this university as it has a really competitive math program that offers me flexibility to study math, CS, and finance altogether. I have had a great time with the in-depth academics and excellent faculty here. The teaching pattern is also really thought provoking which makes me want to learn more. And the location of the university is also nice, which makes it a great experience overall.

It was a wonderful experience with extensive learning on technical and managerial skills. The courses are designed considering their application in current industrial setup which makes it very easy to adopt to corporate work environment for a fresh graduate. The other students are also competitive and there is a lot to learn from your peers as well.

I loved my experience at Waterloo. It is an amazing facility. I would highly recommend the Velocity programs and Concept seminars. These are UW's own incubators and pre-incubators. The innovation ecosystem at Waterloo is world-class and the support available is insane. Compared to the universities, I have not seen such an ecosystem elsewhere. It is truly inspirational to be a part of UW.

As a University of Waterloo alumni, I am proud to say that my experience at the institution was truly collaborative. Throughout my time there, I had the opportunity to work alongside individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines, which allowed for a unique and enriching learning experience. The university's emphasis on multidisciplinary also fostered an environment that encouraged innovation and creativity, which was especially evident in the research projects I worked on. One thing that really stood out to me about the University of Waterloo was its flexibility and commitment to teamwork. The university's co-op program allowed me to gain real-world experience in my field while still pursuing my degree, which helped me to build valuable skills and connections in my industry. Additionally, the university's focus on teamwork meant that I was able to collaborate with other students on challenging projects, which helped me to develop strong communication and problem-solving skills. Finally, the University of Waterloo's commitment to high-class research was evident in everything from the quality of the facilities to the caliber of the professors. Being exposed to such a rigorous research environment was incredibly inspiring and helped me to develop a deep appreciation for the importance of academic inquiry. All in all, my time at the University of Waterloo was incredibly rewarding and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a vibrant and innovative community.

I feel it's great. It exposes you to lots of new ideas, opportunities and networks. However, it can get overwhelming and lonely, so strong social skills are definitely helpful. At the end of the day, your degree is what you make of it.
