Academic Qualification

• Degree: Honours in Computer Science or related field, with courses in data structure, object-oriented programming, and software engineering.
• Minimum GPA: B+ average in the final year and in all computer science courses.
• Application Review: Graduate Studies Committee evaluates academic records, letters of reference, and supervisor support.
• 2 letters of reference (may be professional and/or academic references).

Alternative Path

Complete the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Computer Science with a B+ average (If you don't meet the Standard requirements).

English Proficiency Test

• IELTS Academic/IELTS Online: 6.5 overall, with no band score below 6.0
• TOEFL iBT/iBT Home Edition: 83 overall, with a minimum of 20 in each skill (speaking, writing, reading, listening).
• Paper-based TOEFL: 560 overall.
• PTE Academic/PTE Academic: Online 59 overall.
• CAEL/CAEL Online: 70 overall,

• Application Summary from OUAC.
• Transcripts from all postsecondary institutions (with translations if not in English).
• Proof of English Proficiency Test.
• Letters of recommendation.
• Statement of purpose.
• Resume with academic and work experience.
• Two electronic reference forms

• A $4000 CAD tuition deposit is required within two weeks of accepting a graduate offer at Laurier.
• It will be applied to tuition and fees after course registration
