Course Curriculum

  • Curriculum was very easy for the first year. It was similar to the things that we already knew in some subjects that I studied in grade 8 in India too but the labs were amazing because I got to learn a lot of new things that I never knew about. Positive aspects are that you get to know a lot of new things about how the international system works. And the negative ones are repetitions of the things that I already learnt in India, like the things I started in middle school.
  • On average, my class had 20 students in the lab and approximately the same ratio or maybe 25 students in a class; so many Indian students were involved in the course, like in my class. I had only two foreigners and the rest of the class were Indian.

Fees

  • Fee was very high; it was above $9000 CAD per semester. For the entire course, it would cost $35000-40000, as the fee is increased each semester sometimes. Fee is charged semester-wise. If someone is reappearing for a course, then it is charged credit-wise. It was about $600 per credit. Regular expenses were $800 minimum per month. These include rent, food, groceries, mobile bills and other miscellaneous expenses like transportation (no trips are being included to travel). It doesn’t include tuition fees too.

  • The courses are much easier here but again, it totally depends upon your program selection and mainly on your knowledge and speed of learning.
  • In my course positive part is that I got a chance to try my hand on various different lab equipment's the negative aspect can be one of the professors; there was one professor you will lose interest in studying.

Fees

  • Fees varies for every course; for my course, you can say $9,100 CAD average , which include health insurance
  • Fees are charged on a semester basis for every semester; it is around $9,100 CAD.
  • If you are not living within walking distance from college, then travel charges are around 140 for adults and 118 for people aged 19 or below.
  • In monthly Expense as per current condition rent is around 450+ 140 (travel cost) + 150 (Grocery cost on average)so total would be 740 per month

  • I would describe the difficulty level as Medium but it really depends on how you handle all the assignments and how you manage your time. There are courses or subjects which were purely based on Theory and had no practicals but some of those courses were the building blocks for computer science.
  • Most Positive aspect of the course : It touched most of the areas in computer science, such as distributed computing, artificial intelligence, Linear Algebra, DSA, Cloud infrastructure, etc.
  • Most Negative aspect of the course: The way of teaching of professors can really make or break your experience in a particular niche. I would suggest not just depending on the professor to understand a particular topic.
  • Starting of Classes can range between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Average Students : 30-40. At trafalgar campus in oakville there were 40 percent of students that were indian.

Fees

  • Per semester – Almost 10k CAD (for international students), which includes every fee, including tuition, gym, etc.
  • Fees are charged semester-wise.
  • Monthly expense is highly dependent on your rent. Expect an approximate expense of about 1200-1500 CAD a month (Assuming your monthly rent is around 700-750 CAD a month), which includes everything from grocery, rent, phone bills, etc.

Well to be honest my architectural course is so practical and we are having all the assignments and group projects as we actually work in filed so the experience we get from Here during Study is so real. The syllabus is also good that helps to improve the software skills as well.

Fees

The 1 semester total fees are around $9000 and which have some including everything like health insurance, campus charge students id card money which help you to use that on campus and have better experience with facilities over here.
