St. Lawrence College (SLC) is a public college of applied arts and technology in Ontario, Canada. It was established in 1967 as part of Premier William Davis's vision to create career-focused technical education across the province. St. Lawrence College Admission Requirements for Indian Students
SLC requires completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) equivalent or higher for most programs. Applications to St. Lawrence College are submitted through the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS) at ontariocolleges.ca. International students can apply throughout the year, depending on their preferred intake and program availability.
For Indian students, Class 12 (Senior Secondary) completion from a recognised Indian board — CBSE, ISC, or State Boards — is the standard academic requirement for Diploma and Certificate programs.
Graduate Certificate programs additionally require a completed bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary credential.
| Program Type | Academic Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Certificate & Diploma Programs | Class 12 (Senior Secondary) completion | Specific programs may require particular subjects (e.g., Biology for Nursing, Maths for Engineering Technology) |
| Advanced Diploma Programs | Class 12 with relevant subject background | Science/Technology programs require PCM or PCB background |
| Graduate Certificate Programs | Completed bachelor's degree or 3-year Advanced Diploma | Degree from a recognised Indian university accepted |

English Language Requirements for SLC Canada
English is the official language of instruction at SLC. Indian students must prove English proficiency as part of the application. SLC explicitly notes that Indian students are not eligible to submit Duolingo, EIKEN, Michigan English Test, or Cambridge English Proficiency results as proof of English proficiency. The accepted tests and minimum scores for Indian applicants are:
| Test | Diploma / Certificate / Advanced Diploma | Graduate Certificate / Fast-Track / Degree |
|---|---|---|
| IELTS Academic | Overall 6.0, no band below 5.5 | Overall 6.5, no band below 6.0 |
| TOEFL iBT / Home Edition | 78 | 83 |
| TOEFL Computer-based | 213 | 220 |
| PTE Academic | 55 | 60 |
| CAEL (In-person or Online) | Overall 60 | Overall 60 |
| Oxford English Language Level Test | Level 6 | Level 7 |
Exemptions from the English test requirement are possible if an Indian student has completed 2 years of full-time, in-person study in an English-speaking country listed by SLC (India is not on this list, so Indian students studying in India will always need to submit a test score). Alternatively, completion of a Grade 12 English course (ENG4C or ENG4U equivalent) from a recognised Canadian institution waives the test requirement.
SLC also has English Language partner institutions whose completion certificates are accepted — these include ILSC Canada, ILAC, Queen's University School of English, and others, providing a bridging option for students whose IELTS scores fall just below requirement.

Online research, this is the best colleges in Canada with a high rate of excellence and very experienced in this field. Good academic record. Lot's of international students are studying here with ease well infrastructure building all types of resources are available here. Transportation facility is also available.
Fees
The fee structure is very simple you can pay fees at a time or you can pay the fees in instalments it is very easy. Our fee structure is like 7500$ per semester and you can deposit the next semester fee by the end of the ongoing semester so that you can continue with your syllabus easily or you can take a loan of that when you don't have sufficient funds or financially weak.
Overview
This particular college has great statistics for the outcome of student success. There are great resources that are there for students ad and as well as the friends that I wanted to make would have never happened if I didn't choose st Lawrence college in Kingston.
Fees
The fees for me were easy with the assistance of OSAP. I also was in residence so there were extra charges that were expensive but worth since I got a great roommate. The supplies are a little pricey but for the most part, everything is expensive so for me, I want to push by all my classes and get the dream job and be able to pay and live without hesitation.
Overview
Cornwall is a pretty quiet area and 70% of the population is oldies so there are no fucking fights here and no drugs over here. And the best part is I got the job over here in The Home Depot where all the co-workers are good to me. Overall, I love Cornwall.
Fees
Fess structure is a little bit hard for January intake students and I am January intake student only. Every 4 months we had to pay a kind of 8000$ like crazy. And other codes were extra and almost paid 1400$ for codes but these should be included in fess only to help international students.
Overview
It was close to home and had great baking and cooking course and I knew some people who graduated from here and got great jobs and who enjoyed the course. I love baking and cooking, and they had a great course.
Fees
Books were around 1000 dollars altogether and the class was $6000. And housing was free for me because I lived at home.
Overview
I loved the campus and the town of Kingston. When I looked around the town it felt like a place that could be home. Everyone was friendly and the area is beautiful. I thought the school reflected that too.
Fees
In addition to tuition there was charges for supplies, materials, and printing. I don't recall exact numbers but it certainly isn't cheap. Having to constantly buy our own supplies for projects can add up as well.
