- This course is for people seeking to make the transition from a science or mathematics-based career to become an engineer, or who already have an engineering degree and would like to change paths to a different specialisation.
- Develop specialised technical knowledge in structural engineering to help you transition to an engineering career.
- You’ll gain a detailed understanding of the design of high-rise buildings, industrial complexes, bridges, stadiums, and sporting and exhibition centres.
- Areas of study include concrete structures, steel structures, civil engineering, and structural dynamics.
- You will complete:
- 19 x core units
- 2 x specialist elective units
- 1 x elective unit
- a minimum of 2 x project or research pathway units
- This course has a professional practice component that is usually undertaken over 12 weeks.
- This provides you with an opportunity to gain industry exposure within an engineering environment.

- An Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification or
