- This course is for people seeking to make the transition from a science or mathematics-based career to become an engineer, or who already have an engineering degree and would like to change paths to a different specialisation.
- Develop specialised technical knowledge in software engineering to help you transition to an engineering career.
- You’ll gain a detailed understanding of all aspects of software production from strategy and design to coding, quality and management.
- Areas of study include advanced computer architecture, real time computing, internet software platforms, and object-oriented design.
- You will complete:
- 17 x core units
- 3 x specialist elective units
- 2 x management electives
- a minimum of 2 x project or research pathways units
- This course has a professional practice component that is usually undertaken over 12 weeks.
