What Students Say
Likes
- I think it is a very practical foundation and a higher level than most similar courses, as it prepares me for the industry and allows me to specialize in specific areas that I may want to pursue as a career.
- Like interviews and everything, its so good; you work for an entire year and do a couple of assignments.
- Seniors have also indicated that the job market is good for my field of study.
Dislikes
- This is obviously attributed to its skeptical nature and emphasis on scientific discipline and similar factors.
- We dont have on-campus housing, and the other common areas are too costly for me.
- The fees are small because it is an Australian government-funded course covered by the HECS loan system in place for students

I don't have an IT background and this course is for non-IT background students too. Plus, the industry connections are really good at RMIT. The course is more practical based than theory based which is ideal for me.
The college has connections with the industry I want to be part of. The buildings and facilities were new and the location is easily accessible for me. For some reason, I always wanted to attend RMIT from a young age.
This college was the best available college for the course I wanted to do. It has given me the opportunity to learn, my siblings also went to this college so I was aware of how good it is as they both enjoyed there time while they were at the college.
I chose this particular college because it offered the degree I wanted and had a fair way of getting in. It seemed they had a good teaching staff that cared about you and would be helpful. The other students didn't seem as stuck up as other places either.
RMIT has a great reputation and is in a great location that is easy to commute to, it has modern facilities and excellent teaching staff and student mentor programs. RMIT was my number one preference.
The specific course it provides is very niche and well regarded around the world and has very high graduate job prospects.
In Vietnam, RMIT is among the best international college that both provide good program and have a famous reputation among Vietnamese job market. Thats why I signed up in RMIT. And at the beginning, I still had no idea of my dream job nor my strengths when working. So I picked the most potential and the newest occupation in Vietnam at that time which is supply chain and logistics but after one semester somehow I wanted to choose again and decided to change to Digital Marketing - my major right now. And thats my best choice. I have found my passion in this field. RMIT has helped me a lot by preparing enough basic knowledge for me to enter the marketing market. And after 1 year studying, I have got a job and currently being a Marketing executive of a brand while in the second year of university.
RMIT teaches it's a course in a way that prepares you for the job and job market, not just some intellectual italics that garbage. Its location is very central to the city also which allows an easy commute.
I chose RMIT university primarily because of its location. Being in the heart of Melbourne city meant there were plenty of employment opportunities right near campus. Surrounded by public transport I have multiple ways of getting to and from class with ease.
It provided a course that I wanted and I really liked the campus. It also has a very convenient location right in the CBD and there's a lot of resources around the place so that I can get extra assistance.
