• It all boils down to your capabilities and skills. Yes the course work does teach you industry knowledge, but you need to understand and learn where to apply them.
• Soft skills and confidence play a vital role in getting a job here and rest, you can learn after you join the job.

• I shared homes with people from my city, monthly it would be around $1000 including bills.

• This is only what I have heard and not seen practically and got to know that around 70% of students get placed in the first 2 months and almost 100% in the next 4 months with a salary range from 35,000 AU$ to 60,000 AU$ per year.
• This can be +- 10 % in extreme conditions but this is what I have seen here. The jobs are typically the leading teacher, coordinator, Principal etc.
• Average Package: AU$ 35,000 to AU$ 60,000 per annum

• I have opted for off-campus accommodation which I have discussed in advance. There are few people from my known ones living there and I had shifted with them. 
• The monthly rent inclusive of everything is around AU$ 1000, which includes water, Wi-Fi, gas, and everything from a ration perspective. It is safe to live in. For now, I can recommend the accommodation nearby where other students have opted.
• The rent costs have risen considerably in the past 1 year. My stay is around an hour's drive from the university. Most students stay in the outskirts of Melbourne to bear rent costs.

No support from college for placements. Moreover, the job market in Australia very critical and it is really hard to find a professional job.

My overall experience was not at all fascinating. There is no support from university related to placements. Most of the classes were conducted online with poor quality. Australian job market is really worst to find professional job after graduation. You need to have at least 3-4years of job experience before commencing masters in order to survive in Australia.

Australia is hard to find a job because of its small population and small country. Most of the jobs prefer Australian citizenship which is why it is difficult for any fresher to get a job after the course. You have to build your own network inside the college in order to get a job, which was really hard for me to say personally. Because building a network with people who can help me get a job is really difficult for me in places like Australia. You must be very good at networking.

I had some friends in Latrobe, also Latrobe is a good university in Australia as it is one of the tops. I myself wanted to pursue my studies at a good university that could help me explore things that I had not explored before. Plus its main branch is in Melbourne where the cost of living is lower than in Sydney. These are the reasons to choose Latrobe University.

I am still in Semester 1, so can't really comment on this but it's great according to the course handbook

It has courses structured to meet the required industry requirements that frequently get updated. State-of-art facilities, Public and Established University

At La Trobe, students interested in research are encouraged to pursue it. They are supported and provided with all the needed guidance. There is not much information on the success of international students in the placement process at the University. However, there is a career advantage program designed for all the students, and it has a very impactful outcomes.

I am very passionate about studying Human Resources. I spent significant amount time to research the courses and subjects designed by the universities. I was impressed with the range of topics covered in Human Resource in my current program at La Trobe University. I preferred La Trobe over the other Universities specifically because of the course, Master of Management - Human Resource Management.

They are plenty of opportunities but as I am a first year I have not yet taken them. I know La Trobe have a career lounge to discuss future jobs and I definitely will be applying to the program which involves shadowing a politician for a month

Because they have the specific course I wanted to do in a double degree. I also loved the large open campus and how there are interesting things to do there that are unrelated to study such as a wildlife sanctuary.

Fair. The placements and job opportunities in my institute, LA Trobe University does have placements and job opportunities. It's fair enough not Great.

Good education with affordable tuition fees. Good graduate employability in the industry. Good infrastructure and resources for students to seek help if facing any difficulties. Many students clubs and extracurricular activities for students all-round development.

Because it was the only university that had the specific course I wanted to do, I was looking around but no other university offered a course like this and also because this university is big.

La Trobe University offers the variety of courses I wanted, it is also relatively close to my home town which is around about 3 hours away, meaning I can still keep in contact with my family and catch up with them on weekends.
