Australia is set to restrict the number of internationals for the 2025 academic year to 2.70 lakhs. For this, the federal government plans to slow down the visa process after the university meets its minimum target for enrolment. The measure has been taken to limit the number of international students in Australian universities. The Australian student visa will now be divided into 2 categories: high priority and standard priority.
