TS PGECET 2026 M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D (PB) counselling follows a separate schedule from M.E./M.Tech., with online registration opening July 26, 2026 and the web option window running August 4–6, 2026 at pgecet.tsche.ac.in.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) runs two distinct counselling streams under TS PGECET 2026. Stream 1 covers M.E., M.Tech., and M.Arch. admissions, while Stream 2 handles M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) on an entirely separate timetable. Students who appeared for TS PGECET 2026 under the Pharmacy paper must track only the Stream 2 schedule — following the M.E./M.Tech. dates will not apply to your admission process.

  • Online registration for M.Pharmacy counselling opens July 26, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026 at pgecet.tsche.ac.in.
  • Special category (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports) certificate verification is held in person at helpline centres from July 29–31, 2026.
  • Verified candidate list is displayed on August 3, 2026 — only listed students can exercise web options.
  • Web option entry window: August 4–6, 2026 — this step directly determines your seat allotment.
  • Seat allotment is based on TS PGECET rank, category reservation and the web options you submit within the window.

Why M.Pharmacy Has a Separate Counselling Schedule

TS PGECET covers multiple postgraduate streams. TSCHE separates M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D (PB) counselling from M.E./M.Tech. because pharmacy colleges follow a different university affiliation pattern, seat intake structure, and eligibility framework. Pharmacy colleges in Telangana are affiliated to Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Sri Venkateswara University, and other state universities under regulatory norms distinct from engineering institutions.

This structural difference means the web option list, helpline centres, seat matrix, and reporting logistics are entirely separate for pharmacy admissions. Students who cleared TS PGECET 2026 under the Pharmacy paper must follow only the Stream 2 (M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D) timetable and not the Stream 1 M.E./M.Tech. dates, which began in early July.

  2. Log in with your TS PGECET 2026 Hall Ticket Number and date of birth.
  3. Fill in your personal, academic, and contact details in the registration form.
  4. Pay the counselling processing fee online using net banking, debit card, or UPI (fee amount as per official notification).
  5. Upload scanned copies of all required certificates in the prescribed format and file size.
  6. Submit the form and download the registration confirmation slip.

Students belonging to NCC, CAP, Physically Handicapped, or Sports categories must additionally attend physical certificate verification at a TSCHE-designated helpline centre between July 29 and July 31, 2026. How to Submit Web Options for M.Pharmacy

The web option window opens August 4 and closes August 6, 2026 — this is the single most critical step in TS PGECET 2026 M.Pharmacy counselling. The colleges and specialisations you list, in your order of preference, directly determine which seat you are allotted. Only students who appear in the verified candidate list published on August 3 can access this step.

  1. Log in to pgecet.tsche.ac.in using your Hall Ticket Number and date of birth after August 4.
  2. Select Exercise Web Options from the counselling dashboard.
  3. Use filters to browse available M.Pharmacy colleges by university affiliation, district, management type (government / aided / unaided), and specialisation (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, etc.).
  4. Add your preferred college–specialisation combinations to the web options list.
  5. Arrange them in descending order of preference — your most preferred combination must be listed first.
  6. Click Save and Submit before August 6, 2026 closes.
  7. Download or print the web options confirmation slip for your records.

You can edit and re-submit web options any number of times within the August 4–6 window. Only the last saved set of options is used for allotment. Add as many colleges as possible — more options increase your chances of securing a seat in a preferred specialisation. No modifications are allowed after the window closes.

Documents Required for TS PGECET 2026 M.Pharmacy Counselling

You must upload scanned copies of all documents during online registration from July 26–31. Students in NCC/CAP/PH/Sports categories must also carry originals and one set of photocopies to the helpline centre for in-person verification.

Document Purpose
TS PGECET 2026 Rank Card Proof of rank and eligibility
B.Pharmacy Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate Qualifying degree verification
B.Pharmacy Mark Sheets (all semesters) Academic record
Caste / Category Certificate (SC/ST/BC/EWS) Reservation benefit
Telangana Residence / Local Area Certificate Local area seat eligibility (AU/OU/SVU zone)
Transfer Certificate from last institution Migration record
Aadhar Card Identity verification
NCC / CAP / Sports / PH Certificate (if applicable) Horizontal reservation eligibility
Passport-size Photographs (6 copies) Admission records at allotted college

Students whose B.Pharmacy final results are still awaited must carry a provisional eligibility certificate issued by their university. Admission in such cases remains conditional until the final mark sheet is submitted at the allotted college.

Reporting to the Allotted College After Seat Allotment

Once Phase 1 provisional seat allotment is published on pgecet.tsche.ac.in, you must report to the allotted M.Pharmacy college within the window announced by TSCHE. Non-reporting within the deadline leads to automatic cancellation of your allotted seat.

  1. Log in to pgecet.tsche.ac.in and download the Provisional Allotment Order.
  2. Report to the allotted college with your original documents and the allotment order printout.
  3. Pay the tuition fee as prescribed — government quota and management quota fee differ based on the college type.
  4. Submit photocopies of all required documents to the college admission cell.
  5. Collect the College Joining Report as confirmation of your admission.

Where TSCHE permits online self-reporting, you must upload your fee payment receipt and a scanned copy of the allotment order on the portal within the specified time. Students who want to upgrade their allotment in a later phase must obtain a relieving order from the current college before re-entering web options for that round. Without a relieving order, the current seat is treated as final.

Ans. TSCHE runs two separate counselling streams — Stream 1 for M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch. and Stream 2 for M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D (PB). The streams differ in university affiliations, regulatory requirements, and seat matrices, making separate timetables administratively necessary. Students must follow only the schedule relevant to their stream.

Ans. Physical certificate verification is required only for students in special categories — NCC, CAP, Physically Handicapped, and Sports. These students must visit a designated helpline centre between July 29 and July 31, 2026. General category students complete the process entirely online through certificate upload during registration.

Ques. How many web options should I add for M.Pharmacy counselling?

Ans. There is no fixed minimum or maximum limit on the number of web options. You should add as many college–specialisation combinations as possible in descending order of preference. A longer web options list significantly improves your chances of securing a seat in a preferred specialisation. Only the last saved list before August 6 is used for allotment.

Ques. What happens if I miss the August 6 web option deadline?

Ans. If you do not submit web options before the window closes on August 6, 2026, you will not be considered for Phase 1 seat allotment. TSCHE does not extend individual deadlines. You may get an opportunity in a subsequent phase if TSCHE announces one, but this is not guaranteed. It is critical to submit options before the deadline.
