The DoTE conducts the TNEA Application has started from May 7, 2025, to June 6, 2025 for the candidates aspiring to pursue undergraduate engineering course in Tamil Nadu. For the TNEA 2025 Application the DoTE has set some guidelines to upload the document on the online portal.
During the registration process, the candidates need to upload mandatory documents such as 10th, 11th, and 12th mark sheets, community certificates, birth certificate, and optionally special reservation certificates.
The TNEA 2025 website will accept documents in a specified format, PDF or image formats (JPG/JPEG/PNG), Certificates should be within the size range of 150 KB to 1 MB, whereas the photo and signature must be within 20 KB and 50 KB. This will ensure that the documents are readable and manageable for verification.

As per the Guidelines of the DoTE, only candidates who have successfully completed the registration process and paid the registration fee are eligible to upload their documents.

TNEA 2025 Mandatory Documents
The TNEA 2025 Mandatory Documents list includes the marksheets of the 10th, 11th, and 12th, which will validate the candidates’ academic qualification. Only the Tamil Nadu State Board 11th Marksheet is required. A Community Certificate is also mandatory for the candidates from the reserved categories (except Open Category).
