Health, Common Diseases and Malaria in Class 12 Biology
NCERT defines health as complete physical, mental and social well-being, shaped by genetics, infections and lifestyle. Innate and Acquired Immunity
Innate immunity is non-specific and present from birth, with four barriers: physical, physiological, cellular and cytokine. Its two arms are humoral (B-cells make antibodies) and cell-mediated (T-cells). Antibodies are H2L2 Y-shaped proteins of five classes: IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD.
