VMOU Assignment 2026 is out for the 2026-27 session. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota has posted the PDFs programme-wise. They sit on its official assignment page. Students admitted in the July 2026 session can download them now.
The list covers more than 80 programme entries. These cover UG courses like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA and BCA. PG courses include MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW and MBA. Each course paper carries its own internal assignment, usually worth 20 marks. These marks are added to the term end exam marks.

How to Download VMOU Assignment 2026 PDF?
The full list for every programme sits on the university's assignment page. The steps below work on both phone and computer.
- Students open the official website vmou.ac.in.
- They select the Assignments link on the homepage.
- The assignment page on online.vmou.ac.in opens.
- They pick 202627 from the Session drop-down list.
- They find the programme name and code in the list.
- A click on the download icon opens the PDF in a new tab.
- Students save the file and take a printout if needed.
Example: A student in BA Part I selects session 202627. The student then picks 288-BAN-I and downloads all course papers in one PDF.
VMOU Assignment 2026 Format and Marks
Most assignments follow a three-section pattern. The MBA Year I file sets 20 marks per course paper. The split is shown below.

MA History papers follow the same 20-mark split. Some programmes use a different total. The BCA Second Year file sets 30 marks per paper. It asks for four short and two long answers.
The marks go straight into the term end exam total. So a weak assignment pulls down the final course score.
Who Must Submit VMOU Assignment 2026-27?
Every student in the 2026-27 session submits one assignment per course paper. This covers first-year students. It also covers students promoted to the second or third year.
The BCA file is labelled July 2026 - January 2027. So one assignment set serves the whole academic session. July 2026 session admission closed on September 10, 2026, after an extension. See the VMOU admission page for the session details.
VMOU Assignment Handwriting Rule 2026
VMOU's Regional Services Division issued a notice on April 9, 2026. It says the internal home assignment must be handwritten by the student only. Assignments written by any outside person or agency will not be accepted.
- The university may act against a student who submits someone else's writing.
- Regional centres must not accept bulk assignments from any person or agency. This covers both hand delivery and post.
- Centres report agencies offering such writing services to the Registrar. The Registrar can then start legal action.
Students admitted from July 2024 to January 2026 got the notice by SMS.
How to Submit VMOU Assignment 2026?
The 2026-27 assignment files set the submission method. Each assignment goes to the study centre coordinator. A model study centre coordinator also accepts it. They can hand it over in person or send it by Registered Post.
The study centre must fall under the student's own VMOU regional centre. Each course paper goes as a separate assignment with all pages tied together.
Cover Page Details
The first page of each assignment must carry these details:
- Name of study centre and regional centre
- Course code and course name
- Student name and father's name
- Scholar number
- Postal address with mobile number

In earlier sessions, VMOU ran an online upload facility at vmou.onlineosm.in. As per previous cycles, students logged in with the scholar number. They uploaded a scanned PDF under 4 MB.
The 2026-27 files name only study centre submission. Students using the online route should confirm it on the vmou.ac.in homepage first.

The MBA file states the rule plainly. Assignments must reach the study centre 30 days before the term end exam.
