IPU Result 2026 (Out) @ipu.ac.in: Course-Wise Dates & Rechecking

IPU Results 2026 are being declared course-wise for all semester exams. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, runs the result process. It released the May-June 2026 end term results between June and August. Results of the August 2026 supplementary exams followed in late August and early September.

Students see their individual result on the University Student Portal, examweb.ggsipu.ac.in. The login ID is the Enrollment Number. The password is the father's name in CAPITAL letters, as per university records.

Medical programmes such as MBBS, BDS and MD/MS are the exception. Their results are published as PDF notices on the ipu.ac.in examination notices page. Students unhappy with their marks can apply for rechecking within 15 days of the result.

IPU Result 2026 Portal by Program Type

GGSIPU uses different channels for different programmes. A university notice dated June 5, 2026 confirmed the student portal route.

The university also sends each result in PDF form to the school or affiliated college. So the college office can show the declared result too.

What Changed in the IPU Result System?

From the November-December 2025 end term exams, GGSIPU moved non-medical results to the student portal. A university notice dated January 5, 2026 announced this change. Before that, results were mainly published as PDF lists on the university website.

How to Check IPU Result 2026?

Students check the individual result on the student portal. The steps below follow the user manual issued by the Examination Division.

• Open examweb.ggsipu.ac.in.

• Enter the Enrollment Number as the user name.
• Enter the father's name in CAPITAL letters as the password.
• Type the captcha code and log in.
• Click the result button on the home page to view the semester result.
• Use the Profile tab to check personal details, and save a copy of the result.

Example: A student's father is named Rakesh Kumar. That student logs in with the Enrollment Number and the password RAKESH KUMAR.

The Change Password tab lets students set a new password after the first login.

IPU Result Login Problems and Fixes

Most result complaints come from login trouble, not missing marks. The table covers the common cases and the official fix for each.

Important: The Examination Division does not accept email update or password requests sent directly by students. The college must send the request from its official email ID to incharge.results@ipu.ac.in.

IPU Odd Semester Result Timeline

Odd semester results follow a similar pattern to the even semester ones. The November-December 2025 exam results came out in mid-January 2026.

• BHMCT 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th Sem: January 13, 2026
• B.Tech (Affiliated) 5th Sem, M.Ed. and MA (English): January 14, 2026
• BCA, B.Com and other programmes: January 20, 2026

So the November-December 2026 results are expected in January 2027, as per previous trends.

How to Apply for Rechecking After the IPU Result

GGSIPU offers three options after the result. These are rechecking, answer sheet inspection and a certified copy. Each has its own form and a fee per paper.

Students fill the official application form and attach the fee receipt. The Dean, Director or Principal forwards it to the Controller of Examinations office in Dwarka. A form sent after 15 days is not accepted.

The university publishes rechecking results as separate notices. For example, the B.Com (Hons) rechecking result came out on September 28, 2026.

Ques: Does GGSIPU give grace marks in semester exams?

Ans: No. GGSIPU stopped grace marks in semester, annual and supplementary exams from the 2023-24 session. Programmes under a national statutory body follow that body's norms.

Ques: When is the IPU result for the November-December 2026 exams expected?

Ans: It is expected in January 2027, as per previous trends. The 2025 odd semester results came out between January 13 and January 20, 2026.

Ques: Is the IPU CET 2026 result on the same portal?

Ans: No. IPU CET results come out on the separate admission portal, cet.ggsipu.ac.in. The student portal shows only semester and annual exam results.

Ques: Can students get the IPU result as a PDF?

Ans: Yes. The university sends result PDFs to each school and affiliated college. Students can ask the college office for the class result.

Ques: Where can students find IPU results of earlier years?

Ans: Older results are on the IPU exam results archive. The list is sorted by date and programme.

Ques: When did the B.Tech supplementary result for August 2026 come out?

Ans: Both B.Tech supplementary notices came out on September 3, 2026. One covers final year students of affiliated colleges. The other covers university schools, USS and USAR.

Ques: Does a rechecking result always change the marks?

Ans: No. Many rechecking notices say "with no change". In September 2026, three such notices came out with no change. These covered MBA (A), MA (English) and MA (Economics).
