University of Texas Tuition Fee Payment

The University of Texas at Austin does not partner with services like Flywire or Convera (unlike many other U.S. universities). Tuition fees for international students can be paid through the payment methods officially provided by the university on its website.

International students can pay online and must complete their registration online at My Tuition Bill using one of the following methods:

  • Card: The university accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express for tuition payments, with all card transactions subject to a non-refundable convenience fee of 2.3%.
  • eCheck: Online payment by check.
  • Electronic Funds Transfer: Submit a bank authorization online.
  • Pay with Financial Aid at the View Bill option of My Tuition Bill.
     
  • Pay in Person: Payments can be made in person at the Cashier’s Office located in the Main Building (MAI), Room 8, from Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The office accepts personal checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash; however, credit and debit cards are not accepted for in-person payments at this location.
  • Installment Plan: To confirm enrollment, non-residents must pay USD 5,000 (INR 4.53L). The remaining balance is due by the 12th class day. If you do not pay the remaining amount by that deadline, the university will automatically place you on a payment installment plan, and you will be charged an additional USD 15 (INR 1,360) fee.
