A perfect school with good reputation and minimal cost if you get a assistantship.

Likes:

A very big course, plenty of opportunities to do part time. Hundreds of professors, thousands of positions and a lot of scores for assistantships. null
A good campus, cheap housing, lots to do. Reputed university. null
Good reputation, helpful people, good student community .

Dislikes:

It is too cold and weather becomes extreme .
It becomes a ghost town during breaks like winter. null
Commute is from the airport. Chicago is 3 hours away .

It is a tedious task. Had to compare a lot of colleges. Checked college ratings, their syllabus, cost, tuition fees etc. It required lots of hours to commit in order to shortlist and finalize a university.
