University of Arizona’s The College of Medicine – Tucson trains future physicians to provide high-quality and compassionate care, develops scientists focused on exciting discoveries, and nurtures undergraduate and graduate students interested the many professions in health care and the health sciences. The progressive, three-phase curriculum takes a holistic view of the human body and of medical knowledge. Clinical training begins early in the educational program, and basic science lessons continue during the clinical years. Elective courses give students new perspectives and experiences and let them reflect on what they have learned previously.
