Stanford University Environmental Studies

Stanford University offers a dynamic learning environment where students not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking along problem-solving skills. The School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences at Stanford is home to four departments and two interdisciplinary programs, offering a range of graduate and undergraduate degrees. The goal is to understand, predict, and respond to human-caused and natural environmental change at local to global scales. Students learn about and independently investigate complex environmental problems caused by human activities in conjunction with natural changes in the Earth system.
