University of Louisville Courses and Fees 2025

• Curriculum is more theory based and quite difficult to keep up with. The closed book tests for some courses is difficult (For some it's take- home exams).
• Negative aspect would be not having many core Astronomy courses.
• Positive aspect would be - Professors are amazing and make the learning a bit easier.

• I have received a full scholarship and a Teaching assistant position that is paid.
• From what I know, fee system at UofL is semester based. Monthly expense adds upto around $700-$1000 if you live frugally (including rent and groceries - Bus transportation is free for students).
• I am not sure about Master's and bachelor's tuition cost but I think for Master's it should be somewhere around $46k - $55k a year.

• The difficulty level of courses is higher than Indian courseworks.
• Some courses were theoretical while some were practical but all were very efficient in helping understand the nuances and fulfill the requirements of course i.e. ability to solve the problems in their contexts.
• Positive aspects are the industry driven courses, negatives could be the open book exams and loaded assignments throughout the semester.

• I was offered a fully funded position hence do not know much of fees. However, there is a semester fee each semester which need to be paid. Fees depend on credit hours of each course.
• Since it is a tier II city, expenses are not high. We pay around 700$ per month for a comfortable and private room with attached bathroom.
• Public transportation is free on student ID within the city. Groceries and other expenses add up to 500$ a month.

The course is extremely rigorous and prepares a student well for a career in academia. The modules deal with current happenings in the industry and give a solid theoretical understanding of it. The faculty guidance and mentorship I received was extremely helpful in presenting my research at various national and international conferences.

For PhD students, there is a full tuition waiver available if you’re granted scholarship and GA/TA.

Syllabus is well updated and research snd industrial experiences were provided. 35:1= Students: Faculty. Faculty and staff are very helpful and always boosts up the confidence. Dr.Hatami is the professors.

The total tuition fee 33,000$

UofL offers many different types of courses where everyone can find something they like! They try really hard to offer a wide variety of subjects and sub-subjects. I always have at least one class I enjoy!

There was an application fee to apply to the college. There?s tuition, a meal plan, a healthcare fee (that can be waived), possible lab fees if you take a lab, student recreation fee for the gym, and possible costs of housing if you stay on campus!

Depending on the course some curriculum was thorough and thought very well. For example, my accounting courses had a great curriculum and the professor let us learn in multiple ways so that every student could learn.

Tuition and board were the main fees other than books. The charges were competitive to other colleges but with my scholarship these costs were minimal.
