The Master of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering is a 30-credit degree program. 

The M.Eng in Materials Science and Engineering program at the Stevens Institute of Technology consists of the following modules:

Students must select five elective courses. Electives can include up to 6 credits of MT 800 Special Problems and up to 10 credits of MT 900 Master's Thesis. Of these electives, at least two must be within the major, including courses in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (cross-listed with MT), and Biomedical Engineering, in addition to Materials Science and Engineering courses.
