University of North Texas Psychology Programs

In support of the University of North Texas’s core values of access, diversity and engagement, the psychology department seeks to create an equitable and inclusive environment that encourages scholastic and personal growth among faculty and students.

The Department of Psychology offers programs in psychology that are designed to expose students to the various perspectives that make up modern, academic psychology: historical and theoretical perspectives; psychological development; and social, multicultural, clinical, cognitive, and biological approaches. The goal of these programs is to educate students on the scientific basis of psychological knowledge and expose students to the many ways that knowledge is applied in everyday life.
