Likes
- Maintenance is good. Few subjects were good as part of my curriculum.

- There could have been more assistance in job search for international students or placement opportunities.
- People who took 11 months course curriculum struggle to get on campus jobs as there are very little opportunities for them.
- The fees is way to high for the value provided.

- The course is average and somewhat updated according to new technologies coming in.
- I was not able get any research experience. My class contains atleast 40 students.
- I had maximum of 3 classes and minimum of 1 class per day.
Admission Experience
- I chose this university because of my course MIS which is only for 11 months and fee was less when compared to other top universities. Also, the cost of living in buffalo is less.
- It varies every year. I had IELTS 7 when I applied and 3 years of work experience. It is easy to get into university.
Faculty
- Prof Dominic Selitto and Kyle Hunt are incredible. Few faculties are good while few are okay.
Campus Life
- I am not aware about extracurricular activities as I never had time to participate.
- On campus jobs like campus dining will be available to students who pursue 2 year program.
Part Time Jobs
- International students are not eligible for off-campus jobs as it is illegal in the US. Pay varies depending on what job it is it can be between 15-22 maximum.
- Each university will have job portals where they post jobs say for UB its handshake, bizlink. You just have to apply and email the hiring team/professor if you know. Students can work max 20 hours per week.
- It is difficult to secure on-campus job if you choose 11-month program. In my department it was only 4-5 students who got assistantship.
Placement
- I won't recommend anyone coming for masters to USA anymore. People are unemployed for more than a year. International students are underpaid unless you find a job in MAANG.
- The average varies for each program and years of exp an individual has. Its around 60k mostly. It is very hard to find jobs in the USA. There is no placement assistance provided. People apply on LinkedIn and Indeed.
Accommodation
- I found accommodation joining UB Housing group. My rent is $400 per month excluding utilities.
Exams
- For my program I had to complete IELTS and prepare SOP, LOR and Resume.
Fees
- fee around 38000-31 credits.
