Required Exams for Admission

IELTS (9)

The major reason for choosing this college was the cost of program - cheaper in comparison with other schools offering similar program. Secondary factors include - brand value, alumni network, geographic advantage. And the reason I chose Engineering Management is because of my interest in tech and skill in management. Also wanted to break into product management. Overall experience was just about satisfactory. Studying at this university and particularly this course had a lot of cons for a few pros. Would recommend to consider only after thorough research.

Course Curriculum

8

Course was leaning towards Industrial Engineering. Syllabus was mostly upto date. School caters mostly to local part time students, does not have full fledged infrastructure to support large no. of students yet. Industrial and research experience is limited.

Faculty

9

Student to faculty ratio is one of the best - 1:15-20. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. Dr. Kailash Satyamurthy, Dr. Ashkan Neghaban, Dr. Dusan Ramljak are some of the prominent professors that left an impact on me.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is pretty limited. The school operates only in the evenings, but allows students to study/work in the day. Events and extracurricular activities are limited. Students are allowed to do research assistant jobs.

Placement

3

We have online and offline career fairs. There’s no specific tie up’s with organizations. Pharma and finance related organizations are most widespread in and around the area. About 80% of the cohort was placed within 3 months of graduation. Median salary would be roughly around ~80k.

Accommodation

Off Campus
6

Accommodation is available within 5-7 mile radius around the school (Malvern, Paoli). 2&3 Bed units cost around 1.8 - 3.5k USD per month. Utilities would cost an additional 200-500 USD per month. Sharing is encouraged to make finances manageable. Transport to and from the university is provided by the university. But for all other needs, please note that the public transportation is not sufficient. Need to rely on cabs and or friendly neighbors.
