The program ranking is pretty good, not a very expensive state, beautiful campus The overall experience has been pretty good. The programs are well ranked and the faculty is impressive. The infrastructure is really good and you will find lots of opportunities. The job search is basically in your own hands(true for all US universities), but you will find a lot of advisory for it. The campus is in top 10 beautiful campuses of USA.

Course Curriculum

8

The course curriculum is very flexible, reasearch exposure is pretty good too. Wish the career services were a little more involved in terms of helping with jobs

Faculty

8

Some of the faculty is well well renowned and have worked in high tech Amazon and Berkeley labs. Professor David Crandall, Prof Roni Khardon to name a few.

Campus Life

10

Amazing! A lot of events keep happening every day. There's something for everyone. The sports facilities are top notch and the campus has very scenic and green spots to chill because it is a huge campus.

Placement

7

Finding a job is basically an individual process. There are career services to help, but people usually use networking through websites like LinkedIn, Indeed, handshake. Companies visited are service based companies, consultancies, Tech companies, Research companies. The placement rate largely varies each year based on economy, international policies for immigrants but it's pretty decent overall. Median salaries for tech jobs are around $85k-$90k, with higher ends around $150k.

Accommodation

Off Campus
6

Off campus housing is usually cheaper for international students. Apartments could be anywhere from $500-$1100 a month/per room depending on your state. The higher end is for places like NY and California. Cheaper states would include Indiana, Georgia, Texas etc. Utilities add up to $100-$200 extra. Try taking a individual room instead of sharing(if that's in your budget), it really helps in building focus in the long run.
