Required Exams for Admission

TOEFL (110)
SAT (1460)

My overall college experience could be defined as challenging, only because I feel very estranged from home and find it difficult to live in a rural environment. Notwithstanding that, it is a great place to learn and build your future.

Course Curriculum

9

The course syllabus was well aligned with other universities and we got hands-on lab experience with the use of FPGA technologies that bettered our understanding of embedded systems.

Faculty

8

For some general classes the faculty to student ratio is 1:60 but for more specific classes it comes down to 1:16. Professor William J Leonard is a great role model and is also the chief undergraduate advisor for students.

Campus Life

8

There are more than 600 clubs to choose from. They range from sports, fine arts, debate, art, academics, adventure sports and much more. The Du Bois library is the largest student library at 28 floors. WIFI is available all around campus. There is a recreational turf as well as a recreational gym Centre along with basketball and badminton courts.

Placement

8

Multiple local companies have visited during career fairs. But, like any other university, it is hard to get placements as an international student.

Accommodation

Off Campus
6

I lived on campus for 3 years and it cost me around $5000 per semester as I opted for a single room. Double rooms will be approx. half of that. Finding off-campus housing is hard due to the rural nature of the campus.

Exams

My scores are : SAT - 1460/1600, TOEFL - 110/120, No other conditional requirements. I sent in two LORs, both from the science department, and the key point was my inclination and aptitude towards the course I was applying for.

Fees

$64000 per year.

Scholarship

Yes, I received the Chancellor's Award that gives me $16000 a year.
