Visa Requirement for International Students

Chaminade University accepts applications from all US citizens and students coming from outside of the US. All the international students are required to have an F-1 Student Visa, that makes them eligible to pursue an education at Chaminade University.

Students are required to contact the Office of Admission after enrollment, to acquire I-20 form, required for visa application.

To maintain F-1 visa status, international students must:

• Hold a valid passport
• Attend the school they’ve been authorized to attend
• Carry a full course load (6 graduate credits)
• Apply for extension(s) if necessary
• Receive authorization before accepting employment
• Report any address change(s) immediately

English Proficiency Requirement for International Students

International Students, applying for graduate programs, must submit one of the following TOEFL scores to demonstrate proficiency in the English language:

• Paper-Based: 550
• Computer-based: 2013
• Internet-based: 79

For undergraduate admission, students can submit an IELTS or TOEFL score. No minimum score is required in this case.

Note: English proficiency requirement is waived off if a student has English as a native language.

Chaminade University Undergraduate Admission

Chaminade University offers 20 majors across six academic divisions at the undergraduate level. Programs are offered by the university in Humanities, Fine Arts, Natural Science, Mathematics, Business, Communication, Education, Behavioural Science and Nursing.

Chaminade University Graduate Admission

A total of five graduate programs are offered by Chaminade University, including Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Business, Master of Pastoral Theology, Master of Criminal Justice and Administration and Master of Science in Psychology.
