Once you’ve submitted your application to Kansas State University, the response to your application should come within a week, provided all required documents are submitted correctly.

To avoid delays, ensure your application includes:

• Official academic transcripts (in English)
• Proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE)
• Statement of Purpose (for graduate applicants)
• Letters of recommendation (if required)
• Valid passport copy
• GRE/GMAT scores (if required by your program)

If you applied through an authorized agent or representative, you can follow up with them for updates, as K-State may communicate directly with the agent on your behalf.

If you applied independently and haven’t received a decision within 4 weeks, you can contact the Office of International Admissions or the Graduate School (for PG applicants) with your application ID to request an update.

If your application is approved, you’ll receive an Offer of Admission via email. This will include:

• The program you’ve been admitted to
• Estimated tuition and fee details
• Program start date
• Instructions to proceed with the I-20 form issuance

Once you receive your I-20, it’s recommended that you apply for your F-1 student visa as soon as possible, ideally within 10 days, to ensure timely visa processing and to prevent delays in enrollment.
