Amity University Mohali Fast-Track Admission Scholarship

All students passing 10+2 and seeking admission at Amity University Mohali are eligible for the Amity University Mohali Fast-Track Admission Scholarship.

The admission under this scholarship scheme is done on the basis of the application form.
The candidate does not have to appear for the admission selection process.
Students can get the benefits of this scholarship only after joining the program on verification of original documents. Moreover, there are limited seats available.
Candidates seeking Post-Graduate programs are not eligible for availing this scholarship.
The scholarship does not apply to the Architecture/ Design / Education / Fashion / Fine Arts / Law and Physical Education programs.

Amity University Mohali Scholarship for Programs after 10+2

Amity University Mohali Scholarship for Programs after 10+2 is served on First-Come-First-Basis.

There is no renewal or continuation of this scholarship. Moreover. It is valid for one year only.
If a candidate’s CLAT score is 95 or above, he/she can take direct admission to Integrated Law programs.

Further, Amity University Mohali Scholarship for Programs after 10+2 is divided into the following two categories.

On the basis of the Class 12th Examination
On the basis of JEE-Main 2023

Likes

People here are good in nature. Good place to make new friends.
Study wise also it’s alright. Teachers teach well.

Dislikes

Face scan feature at the entrance. Sometimes it doesn’t scan the face.
Time table is too hectic. We have to attend classes from 9.15 to 5.10. With less breaks in between.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Total fees payable for ba LLB is ?101000. Scholarships are available if you opt for them. I have taken admission through selection process by giving an interview. I also have opted for a.c. hostel(single room), fees is 173000. The university is a good place to create memories with not so strict environment.

An Honest Overview

Likes

Infrastructure is good as it’s a new university.
Less crowded as compared to other private universities

Dislikes

As it’s a new university, faculty keeps changing and we get to see lots of inexperienced faculties as a result that teach for a few months and go. Some teachers have just done a PHD but have 0 teaching skills
We are not allowed to play in the ground sometimes like during admissions which makes no sense, we are not coming in the way.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

First semester we paid 1,36,000 out of which 1,11,000 is the fees for first semester. And 25,000, was security. We paid 50,000 in advance for registration and the rest 86,000 later. Next semester we paid 1,16,600 and this semester we paid 1,22,500. The fees increases by 5% every semester. If you have chosen a specialisation instead of Core Btech CSE, the fees is 1,00,000, and doesn't increase. 100% Scholarship was 95% and above in 12th State Board 50% for 90-94.99 30% for 90 and above 100% for JEE main 97-100 Percentile 75% for 94-96.9 50% for 90-93.9

Amity mohali is good as compared to other Amity campuses
The university will definitely provide a platform but we will have to do it ourselves. The more knowledge you have, the better the placement

Dislikes

Their cafeteria and mess are the same, but it would be better if they are separated.

Total fee is 9 lakh 90k approx And 1 lakh for semester with 5% increment 25k admission fees .... Lab fees and other charges are included in this Fee structure is same for all There is so many types of scholarship.. one of that is percentage scholarship... If you have 90% above marks in boards u can eligible for this ...

Decent facilities and good teaching staff highly qualified
Supportive seniors with lots of clubs and groups

Dislikes

Extremely mismanaged by the organisation
Classes aren’t not complete yet as it’s still under construction so it causes inconvenience

Tuition fee is 1,19,000 Caution money is 25000 Registration fees is 1500 Fees for almost all courses is the same in amity. Very overpriced in my opinion. 90% and more scorer's get 50% discount on 1st Sen 95% and more get 100% off on 1st sem

The college is has a great campus, top class facilities and PhD teachers with a great and interactive learning environment.
The library presents a cool and interesting atmosphere with alot many book options.

Dislikes

Locality and the city is under development and will be igreat to live at within the next 3-4 years.
Doesn't have a guarantee in internship provision and if does it is paid by student internships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees structure for engineering has an increment of 5% every year with per sem fees starting from 1lakh 6 thousand approx. The hostels are provided on the basis of CGPA criteria...they are quite expensive as each student is provided single room with a flat system of 3,4bhk.

The faculty and the method of their teaching is good and they focus entirely on the basics and often ask for suggestions and feedback especially in our department
The sports ground is good providing nets for cricket practice along with tennis volleyball basketball court and it also have a football and hockey ground university also includes indoor sports room and gym

Dislikes

The food in cafeteria is not good . You're gonna struggle if you're coming outside of home for the first time
Public transport is major problem near the university

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The overall fee for our course is 3,65,000 and its duration is 3 yr Scholarship is awarded based on your 12th result varying all the way from 60-70-80% of the deduction in fees, I haven't taken any campus employment as such but the internship provided by the university is great in our course where students have worked in Tata, ISRO, etc

No I didn’t opted for my scholarship or loan for my studies. However my college do provide scholarships. For example there’s a girl in my college in mba who’s studying for free totally. Because her percentage in 12th standard was above 90 so she availed the scholarship.
