Likes

studying material provided by teachers and faculty memes
library environment and books provided in the lobrary
infrastructure is good and campus life is good

Dislikes

75% attendance is mandatory for all subjects
tests and exams are taken without any holidays in between
college is very strict in case of attendance

Internships Opportunities:

idk much about internships rn cause i m fresher and i have heard that internship is given on the basis of performance and attendance of a student in a specific subject and their abilities and helps a student to get exposure

Likes

Campus is so clean or well developed has good infrastructure
Classess is good with good infrastructure
Teacher's is also good and supportive in every subjects

Dislikes

End sem objective exam are biggest problem which stop from scoring higher
Placement is average not much good or not much bad
Campus food is okok but not always sometimes I don't like it or there is lack of food shop in universal

Placement Experience:

our campus provide placement in Microsoft google imb dell samsung etc and it's so good but the average placement is ithink around 3-4 lakh

My colleage life

Likes

Great infrastructure and well designed labs
Hostel are air conditioned and also provides single occupancy
Can use central library for late night studies till 11 pm

Dislikes

The class timings are very long like from 9 to 5 everyday that makes me feeled a little bored
Also the attendence system for 75 percent is a little difficult to understand
Exams are taken on very low grades so there very less chances to maintain a good cgpa

Internships Opportunities:

Colleage also provides internships during semester breaks by connecting students with differnet organisation but you can also join courses and programs at your own but have to maintain your attendence to give final examanations

Events that happen in college are happening frequently so you will not get bored
They are supportive for your acedamics and will give you opportunities
They have good infrastructure like everything is nice

Dislikes

Sports needed to.be improved as there is very less facility for sports
Need to improve the cafeteria of college as it is not spacious
Need to also focus on courses which have less studentss

Internships Opportunities:

They would provide you with many internship opportunities related to tour course. Big companies would also come to hire you as intern but they womt pay you anything. Most of the interships are without stipend and you have to submit each weeks progress reports to your teachers.

Likes

People here are good in nature. Good place to make new friends.
Study wise also it’s alright. Teachers teach well.
Overall it’s a good place. One must come.

Dislikes

Face scan feature at the entrance. Sometimes it doesn’t scan the face.
Time table is too hectic. We have to attend classes from 9.15 to 5.10. With less breaks in between.
Attendance feature is also strict. Min 75% attendance is must to give exams.

Internships Opportunities:

It depends on your course what kind of internship you will be offered, but it's a good place for IT, and other software related courses. For other courses also it's good. Internships are frequently offered to students.

An Honest Overview

Likes

Infrastructure is good as it’s a new university.
Less crowded as compared to other private universities
Freedom to leave and come to the campus at any time

Dislikes

As it’s a new university, faculty keeps changing and we get to see lots of inexperienced faculties as a result that teach for a few months and go. Some teachers have just done a PHD but have 0 teaching skills
We are not allowed to play in the ground sometimes like during admissions which makes no sense, we are not coming in the way.
The environment provided seems like a school. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like we are in a university, seeing the classes and then guards stopping us from even standing in corridors.

Not sure about which internship opportunities are provided as I am currently in second year and Internships from college will start in third year. Projects will also be given in 3rd year. Currently we only have assignments which hardly have any impact as they don't really require any creativity or problem solving, just theory.

Internship opportunities are provided in 4th semester in various companies varying on the courses and student's expertise The stipend depends on the companies and the projects submitted by the students

Honest review of Amity University Punjab, Mohali as a First Year B.Tech student

The infrastructure is pretty good as the campus is just a few years old. It is not that big but has centrallized AC
All the faculty for B.Tech has either completed their PhD or pursuing it
The girls to boys ratio is pretty good in all the courses.

Dislikes

Campus is not that big. Everything is connected to just one building
The location where it is situated is actually in development right now so it isn't that happening

Internships Opportunities:

The internship oppurtunities mainly start from the 5th semester according to me. I don't have much information about it but I have heard the students who are interested in it get one. The roles are quite vast for it.

Overall university is nice but i would suggest to opt for government colleges if you are looking in Chandigarh

Ambience is pretty nice. Library is fully furnished
University is fully hygiened.cleaning is done on regular basis
Events happens one in 2 months with great singers

Dislikes

Hostel has very time restrictions as well as alot other restrictions.Hostel is very bad as they have shown fridge but haven’t provided
There is a rule if student has not 75% above attendance, he/she isn’t able to give exams. But if his fortune is good and able to give exams , they will give you back because of attendance issues
In every college total attendance needed is 75% but in this university in each subject 75% is needed

Companies like google, Amazon, hdfc, deloitte, bosch, CBRE, bata, cipla etc visited. Placements provided by this university are exceptional. This university has well established placements which provide student to connect with companies.

Amity University Mohali Campus truth

Likes

The college is has a great campus, top class facilities and PhD teachers with a great and interactive learning environment.
The library presents a cool and interesting atmosphere with alot many book options.

Dislikes

Locality and the city is under development and will be igreat to live at within the next 3-4 years.
Doesn't have a guarantee in internship provision and if does it is paid by student internships.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides least no. Of internships in terms of unpaid and only to high scoring students and rest have the chance to do by paid means or self. The internships are less in number so students are mostly dependent on self approach but have to submit the offer letter for resume addition.
