Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure at JG University for my course is quite transparent and reasonable. The total course fee is structured semester-wise, and each academic year follows a clear breakdown that includes tuition and other necessary charges. For my batch, the annual fee is approximately ?85,000, which includes the tuition fee, registration charges, examination fees, and access to university facilities.
There are no hidden charges, and the same fee structure applies to most students across categories like General, SC, ST, and OBC. However, some students from reserved categories may be eligible for government scholarships, which can significantly reduce the financial burden.
As far as I know, the fees have remained consistent over the last couple of years, and there hasn’t been any major hike recently. That said, any future revisions are generally communicated well in advance by the administration.
In terms of scholarships, JG University offers merit-based and need-based scholarships. Students with excellent academic performance in previous qualifications (like 10+2 or undergraduate marks) may qualify for Merit Scholarships, which can range from ?10,000 to ?25,000 per year depending on performance. There is also a Merit-cum-Need Scholarship, which is considered for students from economically weaker backgrounds who also maintain good academic standing.
Overall, the fee structure is student-friendly, and the scholarship opportunities make higher education more accessible for deserving candidates.
