Purnea University provides admission to various UG, PG, PhD, and Integrated programs through 33 affiliated Colleges and 13 Constituent Colleges. UG courses at Purnea University are offered for the duration of 3 years and the PG courses are offered for the span of 2 years. PhD at Purnea University courses are available in multiple specializations and are offered for 3 years. Admission to UG and PG courses (except MBA & M.Tech) is offered on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. Purnea University UG Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of the UG courses both in science and arts streams require:
- 10+2 passed from any recognized Board
- Must have a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 level
- For L.L.B, candidates must have Graduation from any recognized Institution
Purnea University UG Selection Criteria
The final selection is done on the basis of
- Merit list prepared on the scores of Class 12
- Only for B.Ed selection is done on the basis of the scores obtained in the B.Ed combined Entrance Test

I choose this college because this college is near my house and 2nd thing is that college fee structure is very less expensive thats why i choose this college and other thing is the teacher is well experienced.

- The accounts teacher was good, and he constantly tried his best to give the students quality education.
- The campus is big, so it is fun inside. The building is old though.
Dislikes
- The college is not punctual. Teachers and most staffs are not even interested in solving student queries.
- Most of the things, until last year, used to happen manually in this online era. So, consider running to the college for a lot of things during your graduation and wait in long queues.
Admission:
I was in Jaipuria college under Calcutta university and also got confirmed in goenka college of commerce and business administration. But, because of personal issues, I had to enroll here. If you are someone who wants to prepare for banking, or any other competitive exams, then this college is for you. You'll get a lot of free time. But, if you want good academics, better college life, and better exposure then you'll probably get depressed in this hell hole. Admission criteria is pretty simple. You just have to put your 12th marks and you'll get admitted on that basis. No need to think about cut-off. Everyone gets admission here by the end of the merit lists. ???????

I applied in the Purnia college and in my first list it came in the Purnia college as I was very much lucky No I didn't get rejected I got my college in first merit list. First you have to register yourself for admission and wait for merit list. After your name comes in list you have to apply online for your admission and physical verify documents in college for the confirmation of admission. After this the registration process starts.

I did an online in 2021 but was not selected but was selected again in 2022 for a Bachelor of Arts we went to college and there was no problem with good admission there. I was afraid that I might not be able to get admission this time too but nothing happened, the admission to the college was good.
