Cluster University of Srinagar [CUS] is a State University established under ‘The Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Universities Act, 2016’ passed by the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature on July 8, 2016. It has 5 constituent colleges namely Amar Singh College, Sri Pratap College, Govt. College for Women, M. A. Road, Govt. Degree College, Bemina and Govt. College of Education in its close vicinity.

Cluster University of Srinagar offers an array of courses in various fields including Management, Social Science, Arts, Computer Application, Engineering, Education and Science.

Admissions to 5 years Integrated, 3 years Honors and BCA will be done on the basis of the merit obtained in the screening test.
The screening test will contain two tests: Common Aptitude Test (CAT) and Subject-Specific Test.
Admissions to BA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (Home Science) shall be based on merit obtained in Common Aptitude Test (CAT) and 10+2 examination with the weightage in the ratio of 40:60.

Ans. Common Aptitude Test (CAT) consists of 40 MCQs wherein, 15 marks shall be kept for General Reasoning, 15 for General English and 10 for Mathematics. The questions based on General Reasoning and General English shall be of Class 11th /12th level, whereas the questions based on Mathematics shall be of Class 10th level.

Good collage

Admission:

Before taking admission in this collage i applied in another collage but that was in another state .I also got admission there but my family did not allow me to go away from them so i then choose this collage. This collage was not too far from my home and i had also heard form my elder cousins who were ex students of this collage. They tell me to go to this collage. The admission process was simple i had to sit in an exam before admission on the basis of that exam the students were able to ge admitted in the college.

I only applied for this college as i didn't appear in CUET exams and i applied on merit basis through which i got selected for this cource at this very college. The admission process is very simple, you need to register online or you can appear in CUET entrance exam through which you can get selected.

An Honest Review of My College !

Admission:

I didnt applied for other colleges , i choosed this college because of the subject i was interested in . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission process of my college at the time of my admission was entrance based only 40 students were selected throughout the entire valley . The eligibility was that 60 % should be in 12th boards . The cutoff was 60 out of 100. The admission process is overall good.

How much I know my colleage

Admission:

I applied for degree college kupwara and wanted to go there but when I saw my name in the list I was flying in the sky. Process of addmission is I think long you have to physically visit the college and bring original documents along with you and it takes 1 hours or even more to get addmission.

I chose this college because it's nearer to where I live and the faculty professors used to be good before but they retired and new management took control. This was the only college I had applied to and thankfully I was selected. The eligibility criteria for the course I opted for was to have atleast 70% in the 12th boards.
